1. Modern Come Vintage Austin Texas Wedding In Baby Pink & Turquoise

Style, sophistication, and class is the name of the game when it comes to this lovely modern come vintage Austin, Texas wedding! Sarah DeLaCruz & Matthew Lucero opted to invite their closet friends and family into their new life in Austin celebrating under the clear starry tent at The Allan House . Lace dresses lead the way in the form of a gorgeous perfectly fitted Augusta Jones wedding gown and complimentary baby pink lace cocktail dresses from BCBG Generation. Girls after my own heart, Sarah & her ladies did not short change in the shoe department, Sarah wearing some gorgeous sparklers while the ladies wore some killer turquoise pumps! Sarah's hair was to die for, fashioned in a side braid which ultimately came together in a lovely loose textured structured do while the girls rocked a mix of braids and tumbling locks! Not to be out done, the men wore ever handsome steely gray tuxes from Vera Wang & matched the ladies awesomeness in the shoe department in the form of Toms! Sarah along with some help from friends, worked to hand craft each detail from the centerpieces to signage to bring a personal & vintage feel, my personal favorite being the amazing seating chart drawn by hand by her Aunt Paula! I anticipate tons of pining from this gorgeous wedding, from the bridal style, the suave look of the bridal party to the details! What a gorgeous Austin Texas dream wedding!

  2. Why It Works Wednesday: Fall Wedding Ankle Booties To Keep Your Feet Warm & Gorgeous

This past Friday I had a bit of a small procedure done, nothing too serious, however recovery seems to be a bit rougher then I had anticipated, so today's Why It Works will be a bit different and less....windy! Anyone that knows me knows I am a shoe girl, like madly in love with shoes, shoe girl. To the point that the hubs once tried to institute some crazy for every 2-3 pairs that come in, one pair goes out rule, hahaha, riiiiiiight. Needless to say that didnt fly in my world.... As much as I hate to admit it, fall is just around the corner ready to focus its cool weather, warm sun beams right onto the fall brides! Fall and winter brides have a bit more of a delicate task when preparing for their day, taking into consideration the temperature and necessities like wraps, camis, and the like, looking for ways to stay warm. There is another area a gal can offer herself a bit of extra warmth in the form of some pretty amazing footwear! Booties, ankle booties, aka shoes that either kisses, or very slightly cover up to the ankle. There are some really terrific styles out there that are completely drool worthy that would be amazing on our fall brides! I love the idea of a bootie for a wedding and let me tell you why!

  3. An Intimate ‘Getting Ready’ Wedding Day Look With Ashley Nicole Catherine

There is special aspect to the wedding day that I feel is often too quickly moved through in favor of more traditional wedding fare. The morning of the long awaited wedding day is one filled with high hopes, sweet anxiousness, the joy of having your girls around you, & the anticipation of finally seeing everything that you have worked so hard for, all together in one big picture. Details shots taken by photographers are ever so very important, capturing the small touches you put together, stolen moments directed toward one of your girls... the emotion of that day. Recently my gal, {& blogger!} Ashley Nicole Catherine married her love, James Roy Edmund Smith, in a gorgeous Chicago wedding! We decided to do a slightly different feature, showcasing her wedding by touching on the lovely details on the morning of her wedding day. It is a sweet peak into how wonderful her day truly was! You look amazing Ashley!!
