As we shift away from the summer months, heading into the fall wedding season, there is a playful spirit that takes over. Hollywood is a fantastic source of inspiration for all things, those especially wedding. Woodland weddings are a perfect place to harness the fall energy while offering up a playland to work with. A group of California wedding pros got together, wanting to bring to life a Hollywood inspired fairy tale wedding, Snow White & The Huntsman. Taking a cue from fantasy, the team decided to articulate their vision into a woodland wedding filled with antique decor & furnishings that spoke to a time long ago. Working with pieces from a byfone era, elements like heirloom china & jewelry from Koryn of Intimate Gatherings grandmother were used. Dipping into fall's own hues, berries and blushes from The Wild Floral Co dotted the warm tone surroundings. Wanting to capture the true adventurous nature to the cinematic revision, two stunning wedding dresses dance in the dappled woodland light playing beautifully on the lighter and darker side of the story. Bringing everything together, Victoria Johansson Photography artfully captured each savory little detail, giving life to the fairy tale story.
Perhaps it's because I grew up in the steel city, surrounded by endless warehouse giants, or maybe it's because I've spent the last 16 years in the urban wiles of NYC... Whatever it is, I have a special place in my heart for gorgeous loft industrial weddings. There is just something about the cavernous yet wondrously airy blank slates that they offer. When coupled with just the right touch of imagination, these hidden locales can truly sing. Hoping to inject the same sense of industrial wedding wonder, a team of Ohio wedding pros headed to the event space at Rustbelt Coffee with the goal of transforming the event space into one of elegant design. Details like sleek black ghost chairs, custom-made marble calligraphy place cards, & wispy branch centerpieces standing tall against old school loft windows are just a few touches that dial up the elegance. To bring this beauty to life, Ohio wedding photographer Captured by Hannah Photography does an eloquent job of capturing each moment in all sorts of dark, moody, artful goodness. There is much to love here, I suspect you'll enjoy discovering each little hidden treasure!
The thought of rustic anything is often seen as a one dimensional style. The utter beauty to today's gorgeously styled shoot is how seamlessly the rustic setting of Howell Family Farms is transitioned into a sophisticated and chic fall wedding. Under the artful eye of wedding photographer Photo La Vie, this fall wedding focuses on blending a rustic setting with chic design choices and approachable elevated causal flair. Long reception tables line the underneath of swaying crystal chandeliers, brought to life by the perfect fall wedding decor piece, a plaid table runner! A mix of amber glass, in the form of chargers, plates and glassware are intermixed with more traditional pieces while statement pheasant feathers greet each place setting. Keeping with the long lines created by the reception tables, florist Blossoms on the Bricks opted to work with blooms that elongated the tablescape, allowing flowers to dance out from the center of the table. To tie in a rustic boho feel, the entrance to the barn become the ultimate ceremony backdrop, featuring a wide swept macrame like yarn installation accented by a rustic garland of green and blooms. To inject an elevated casual feel, snuggle blankets and bunting brought the perfect down home feel, while bridesmaid donned everyday chic dresses. The overall beauty...
