Hallee Jones & Zach Milot wanted a simple day filled with all the chic trimmings that a rustic Virgina country wedding could offer. Nestled in at the Northside Christian Church in Yorktown, Virginia, shades of Cafe Au Lait filled the day. Bridesmaids were dressed in long satin dresses in shades of champagne, while the men donned smart light beige pants & vests. Gentle touches of lace, vintage furniture as well as hand made fabric flowers accented the room while hand painted signage guided guests to each occasion throughout the day. Tables were set with thick wood slices topped with mason jars filled of candles wrapped in burlap and lace greeting guests at the reception. Hallee & Zach's country fete was perfectly chic & wonderfully homey in all the right places with gorgeous shades of Latte to match fall's sweet charms!

I think I've found a new venue crush guys, Snow Moon Ranch in Michigan! Perfectly situation just a smidge up in elevation, allowing for a tree line view of Lake Michigan, sprawling Llama filled, thats right, Llama pastures, quaint little gardens, & one heck of a gorgeous old weathered gray barn, beautifully landscaped and punctuated by an ivy ladder covered tin silo. Morgan Randall & James Soares fell hard for Snow Moon Ranch and I can easily see why! Their fall wedding was wonderfully timed where the trees had just began to dance in the colors of deep reds & rich orange. Wanting to continue on with that earthy sort of color palette, bridesmaids were dressed in a mixed hue of minty jade while blooms were in lush rich burgundy red tones. A girl's best wedding friend, succulents, were included into the bouquets, while tall wispy reed like greens gave some height to the tented reception. Naturally no earthy fall wedding would be complete without some pumpkins as well, which in this case guided guests around the venue in the form of wood signs. Not to be outdone by her surroundings, Morgan was utterly stunning wearing her hair in a textured up do & body hugging lace gown from Allure. There are some many fun little elements to Morgan & James' wedding, you're going to love discovering them! Oh and Ps- I need this goober of a Llama in my life!!

Today's wedding has a certain je ne sais quoi that is off the charts cool for any wedding, let alone a fall one! Jennifer Courtney & Eric Nelson's main goal for their wedding day was to create an environment that was a comfortable fall celebration with charming southern details, what they ended up with was so much more! Working with the wonderfully skilled and creative teams at Bloom, The Art of Flowers & Bluebird’s Garage, a world was created featuring a Wednesday Hutch used to display the guest gift bags of chocolate covered peanuts, a gorgeous vintage desk used as a display for the guest book which whose drawers were overstuffed with unique & dark blooms, even an outdoor parlor setup which was perfect for Jennifer & Eric's first look. Each touch had a spot of Victorian sensibility to it which was punctuated by the wildly cool Victorian style animal oddity drawings which were used on tables as well as throughout the space. Tables themsleves were decorated with a mix of generous blooms and still life arrangements of white pumpkins & gourds housed under glass domes. Jennifer & her gals carried wonderfully deep & dark bouquets that perfectly fit the Victorian vibe, a mix of burgundy & ivory blooms highlighted with unique elements such as thistle & fern. I cant tell you enough how much I am in love with Jennifer & Eric's approach to a fall wedding. I love the dark deep colors, the unique blooms & use of Victorian era elements. Even a pumpkin or two, all skillfully crafted into a super gorgeous fall wedding experience!

If there is one thing I adore about Cali its the ability to dine Al Fresco in a gorgeous setting that samples that of the Spanish mission style ambiance. Whats more is how perfectly the creamy stucco walls and terracotta like floors lend themselves to a really rich, deep color palette as well! This styled session highlights so many wonderful ways to dress a table in elegance & refinement all the while paying proper homage to lush organic surroundings. A deep berry upper layer table cloth sets the tone, while flashes of gold are present in both the under layer table cloth as well as fat bows around the chiavari chairs. The gold serves as a much need eye pop & shimmer to an otherwise dark affair. Beautiful gnarled wood brings a real earthy element to the table, while dressed with sliced citrus fruits, artichokes & pomegranates, creating an open cornucopia touch. Unique blooms transport the table into a more ethereal feel while little details like single blooms & succulents are playfully entrapped in over turned glassware. The overall effect is a wonderfully organic, rich feeling table set up that steps well away from cookie cutter & transports its guest into a twilight night under the stars!
