1. A New Leaf Chicago Wedding Nestled Inside A Florist Shop

There are certain photographers who do far more then simply capture a wedding in progress, they tell a story. Chicago wedding photographer Megan Saul Photography is one of those gems. Through perfectly timed snaps, unique lighting variances and an artful way of creating, Megan paints the world around the couple allowing them to fall flawlessly into it. Ashley & Andrew opted for a unique Chicago wedding experience, getting married at the event space within A New Leaf, a rustic florist shop with an eccentric attitude. The couple & their wedding party embodied a new modern take on a classic look while the details that swirled around them were organic & chic. The ceremony was held in a natural light drenched room featuring an exposed brick alcove with a reception there after in the most perfectly of moody rooms with bistro seating for guests. Ashley & Anderw's Chicago wedding is a fresh take on city nuptials, utilizing the world around them, honoring their metropolitan locale all while embraced by the rustic earthy arms of the floral shop turned event space.

  2. A Modern Chic Bride With A Pension For Vintage Touches

Perhaps my favorite wedding trend that is, I am predicting, going to catch fire this year, is the mashing up of styles. I have always been one to believe just because you favor one style, one theme etc, it doesn't meant that every single little detail needs to mirror simply and only that. Case in point is this lovely little bridal session from Texas wedding photographer Al Gawlik Photography, in which a stunning modern, wonderfully chic bride is seamlessly complimented by a world of vintage details. In the past brides have felt the need to style themselves to match their environments. The beauty here is in the mix and just how wonderfully the jive & inspire. Lushly blown out locks paired with a ruched bodice wedding dress give a fresh modern feel while elements like a classic chair & wine crates craft a unique juxtaposition of feels making our more current day looking bride truly pop. Think of it as the floral print to your stripes if you will. In conversation you might not think they go, but when you start pulling the prints together, you'd be truly delighted at just how harmonious of a world that they can create!

  3. Gorgeously Glam Lanikuhonua Hawaii Wedding In Turquoise & Butter Yellow

If I close my eyes drift to dream about a wonderfully chic Hawaiian wedding, I am fairly certain that this gorgeous fete from Hawaiian wedding photographer What A Day! Photography hits all the high notes! Resting right along the sugar white beaches, Amy Lawson & Ryan Woodward's Lanikuhonua Hawaii wedding is dotted with stylish details in gentle turquoise & soft buttery yellows all accented by pops of gold. Long wedding tables set in an open air tented reception are lined with thick nonstop low centerpieces of lush blooms while elegant gold flatware brings up the glam factor. While the setting is lovely enough, it's the emotional first look that will truly get you, not to mention some of the more lovely couple portraits we've seen in sometime. Excuse me now while I go back to daydreaming about Hawaiian weddings!

  4. Backyard Style Eclectic Modern Wedding At Sausalito’s Studio 333

In effort to find a venue uniquely cool and fabulously different from most, Kelly Davis & Erik Thomas stumbled upon Sausalito California's Studio 333 which provided the perfect setup for their gorgeous eclectic modern wedding! Seeking more of a dinner party feel, the couple utilized the event space's courtyard for both the nuptials & reception while guests were treated to frosty beverages & libations within the gallery walls. To embrace the full eclectic modern wedding feel, Kelly donned a beautifully sleek form fitting Nicole Miller gown with lace cutouts hugging the waist, which she topped off with a bridal fascinator and sweetly flowing locks, bringing a touch of European flavor!
