1. Jewel Toned Southwest Wedding At Omni Scottsdale Resort

Today's feature, from wedding photographer April Maura Photography, is all about injecting bold colors and bright details into a unique lush desert like southwestern wedding! Set at the Arizona oasis of Omni Scottsdale Resort, our styled shoot features not just vibrant detailing, but picturesque views of Camelback Mountain juxtaposed against the gorgeous green grounds. With their sprawling lawns at hand, the crew set up elegant reception tables dotted with details like glass chargers, gold flatware and glitter enhanced dove place card holders that provided glamour and balance. Florals & jewelry, in a wash of bold fuchsia, soft beige pinks and bright emeralds enhanced the southwestern wedding surroundings, injecting a fresh jewel tone vibe. Blooms like peonies, sand roses & astrantia were mixed with draped greens, chosen for their jewel like qualities. Pink sapphire jewelry served as the most delicious bridal accessory, adding that perfect fashion forward touch to a more classic wedding gown. The last detail is our bride's lace trim veil, one that beautiful echoes the southwestern architecture around them. Dialed up in all the right ways, even the most beautiful of surroundings can be enhanced, much like this jewel tone southwest wedding.

  2. Found & Foraged Inspired Chic Bohemian Wedding With A Dash Of Rustic Country

Today's feature, a collaboration from Texas wedding photographer LewChan Photography & florist Little Yellow Flower Design, takes a page right out of one of my favorite books, use the gorgeous floral around you! Over lunch sometime ago the couple conceived of an inspiration shoot in which every bit of floral was something found & foraged. The result was a lush local organic mix of crepe myrtles, eucalyptus, pecan tree leaves, garden spray roses, mustang grapes, loquat leaves, bamboo, and vines! The duo set to work along side wedding stylist Sanregret Weddings & Events, armed with beautiful rentals from Loot Vintage Rentals to create a chic bohemian wedding with the perfect touch of whimsy. The bare wood table top was set with classic white cafe plates while details like vintage wood handled flatware and French grain sack table runner injected the perfect down home feel. Floral detailing in the form of oversized arrangements, like the centerpiece & bouquet featured pops of blush pink & magenta, while petite glass terrariums with brass elements filled the spaces in between...

Day 2 of our two part series from the creative team of Florida wedding vendors turns up the dial in such a joyful way! If you missed Day 1, be sure to check it out here! Inspired by the rich vibrant hues in Connie Duglin Linens swatch book, the team brought to life a rainbow inspired palette of turquoise, yellow & fuchsia as imagined into a 1940's style pop up soda shoppe! The beauty to this playful facade is how wonderfully interactive that it is from the ability to nip behind and into the store window to the flower box out front filled with cascading greens by Floral Artistry. A sweetheart low boy table was erected out front for cocktails post ceremony, dressed in the bold linens from Connie Duglin's collection while guests were served.... handcrafted sodas in matching hues of course! The rest is in the details from Anna & Kerry's gorgeous retro prep style to their utterly unstoppable smiles & laughter. Sometimes such bold hues can be difficult to work with...

I have always had a major thing for flowers be it just a simple bunch in a vase to the gorgeous well designed bouquets & centerpieces that are a large part of the look and feel of the wedding day. Valentine's Day inspires us in many ways with the colors associated with it of course being the most influential. Reds, pinks, deep burgundies, fuchsia even spots of gold & metallic tones are the very finger print of love related hues. Large or small, a mix of any of these loved soaked hue blooms can be undeniably enchanting in wedding flower form. Below is a collection of 14 of my favorite wedding flower constructs that are pure eye candy. Be it an arrangement of only deep reds to those that are solely soft pinks even the ones that play the best of both, each is dynamic, leaving you speechless. Valentine's Day certainly serves as beautiful wedding inspiration, especially when its taken as more of the essence of it all, the uncontrollable desire to love.
