1. A Modern Geometric Wedding With Vintage Detailing & Rustic Touches

Somewhere along the line someone decided that you couldn't be modern AND vintage, geometrically inclined while being soft & romantic, together at the same time. There has been this unspoken design rule floating around for ages that has blindly been followed with the essence to stay in your own lane when it comes to a theme. What I love so incredibly much about today's feature is how a California crew of incredibly talented wedding vendors decided to smash that notion to smithereens! With a geometric wedding back bone base, event coordinator, stylist & florists Kelly Elissa Events & Enchantment Floral utilized charming vintage minded details from Hunt and Gather Rentals to add another level of dimension to their geometric wedding crafting a unique rustic vintage geometric wedding style. When crisscrossing different genre's of style, there is one true rule that should always be followed, keep it clean, keep it simple & keep it light. In order to seamlessly blend contrasting design types complimentary elements is the name of the game. There is a lot to crush on here...

  2. Softly Romantic Glam Bridal Inspiration At Hacienda De Las Flores

What exactly makes something romantic and what makes some glam... While they might seem like contrasting thoughts, the genius that is wedding photographer Jen Huang along with the breathtaking styling of One True Love Vintage eloquently put on a clinic of how beautiful a glam bride can be with soft romantic undertones. To make a something glam, there is a need for refinement & sophistication. To be romantic, there is a need for softness in the likes of color & texture. Details in this glam bridal that sensationally bring together the whole are touches like the swept up textured locks into a loosely pinned updo hair style & gorgeous orange kissed makeup with just the right hand by Melissa Hoffmann . The Liancarlo wedding dress from Kinsley James Bridal Boutique exudes the perfect balance of structured lace bodice coupled with a free flowing romantic tulle trumpet skirt. The vibrant florals from Natalie Bowen strike the perfect balance between bold & detailed while the petit gâteau from Honeycomb Events are dialed up posh & lovely. Its all about balance... a touch of structure meets a a moment of letting go.

  3. Preppy Retro Elopement Along the Florida Shoreline

I had the most lovely of serendipitous moments earlier this year. Winter was just about to get rolling, the skies not yet fully turned into the ugly snow beast that lasted months, & we were all coming down from the holidays. In mid-December I meet Valerie, our gorgeous red hair ballerina from our Christmas Tree Farm shoot, & subsequently become actual friends. Wanting to get together post holiday, and with Florida friends of hers in town, we all meet uptown in Harlem for BBQ. Pretty quickly after introductions were made, Anna Ngyuen stared at me a brief moment, clearly putting something together. "You've feature my work!" she blurted out. As it turns out, Anna's not just a wedding photographer but one whose work I have had the pleasure of sharing with you all! Naturally tons of chit chat ensued with Anna telling me about what sounded like a super sweet styled shoot she and her fiance Kerry Stratton had done with fellow Florida wedding photographer NikkiMayDay Photography...

  4. Historic St. Augustine Florida Wedding At Villa Blanca At The White Room

Let's face it, while outdoor ceremonies certain are at an all time high, its the church weddings we still secretly squirrel away in our 'One Day' folders. While Tori Hubbard & Derek Walton's Florida wedding wasn't actually in a church, Villa Blanca at The White Room certainly reads like one. One that is a stunning loft like room with vaulted exposed beam ceilings, dark hardwood floors with chandelier upon chandelier swaying from above. In other words, a truly gorgeous minimalist space that I am positive will strike a cord with many of you! Believe it or not the palette for their semi-formal romantic St. Augustine Florida wedding started from the dress up, a breathtaking Allure gown with a soft peach under layer. From there florals were crafted in a wash of peachy meets coral hues, while navy was selected as the secondary color, pairing beautifully in contrast. The rest is a day filled with cobble stone streets, romantic details and a minimalist Florida wedding dream!
