Never one to shy away from a more moody take on a wedding, I was utterly thrilled when this little jewel tone beach wedding inspiration came my way! Wrapped up in the perfectly dark and glamorous photographic eye of Pennsylvania wedding photographer The Hursts & Co., the Delaware seaside locale of Cape Henlopen State Park comes alive just as the sun begins to set. Inspired by the choice to play outside the currently favored blush & ivory color palettes, the mixture of moody jewel tones were elegantly paired with the sparkle of metallic. To dial up the drama of this beach wedding in the most deliciously glamorous of ways, florist Little Miss Lovely worked with a mixture blooms that not only toyed with the jewel infused color palette, but injected just the right textural touches. A wild and free hand tied bouquet was only the start to the floral decor, while cascading arrangements were put together in Anthropologie vases that allowed the blooms to spill out in a natural way. The seaside table offered cushy pillow seating in lieu of more structured chairs, while the patterned Kate Spade linens allowed the metallic tin chargers to pop, each detail echoing the bride's glamorous metallic wedding dress bridal style. It is such a refreshing treat to see beach wedding inspiration that dials up...

Today's real wedding from Florida wedding photographer Wings of Glory Photography is a down home love letter to all things Americana! This red white and blue wedding, set at the rustic Isola Farms in Florida, is filled with wedding details that dont skip a single July 4th inspired beat. Cracker Jacks nestled into vintage wood crates while oreos are stacked high. Red and white checkered table cloths adorn tables while mixed blooms fill terracotta pots & old coke bottles. Bringing on just the right blue touch, seersucker jackets, blue push-pops, American flag fans and vintage blue cast glassware was used. Keeping with the kitschy spirit, a vintage bicycle for two turned blue was loaded with lush greens, draped in bunting and finished with an old mailbox, complete with carved initials for the couple! From the mix matched seating and tables to the ceremony under the oaks, we love how this couple brought to life their red white and blue wedding vision, in the most Americana of way!

I've got to imagine that Patriotic color palettes, no matter what country you're from, are a delicate thing for anyone to navigate. Certain countries, like ours here in the US, have such bold primary colors, that if not handled properly, simply come out screaming! For just that reason, I always get a little extra excited when I see a red white and blue wedding executed with style, grace and the perfect eye for choosing just the right color variations! Taking one step left from fire engine primary red, the team of Texas florist The Wildflower and event planner Pop Parties opted to play with fiesta red which they brought to life with ranunculus blooms, cockscomb and roses. Injecting just the right touch of blue, a mix of blue china and vases were utilized that not only gorgeously paired with the fiesta red blooms but provided elegance and sophistication to the overall look and feel of the red white and blue wedding. The last piece to the patriotic puzzle was white, always an easy hue to come by in weddings. By choosing an exquisitely textured and wonderfully understated linen from BBJ Linens, the red white and blue wedding came together flawlessly. Texas wedding photographer Jennifer Crenshaw Photography did a terrific job capturing each little detail that went into this dreamy July 4th inspired shoot...

If you know anything about me, you know that I love taking something that is so clearly one style and dialing it up to perfection with the introduction of another. Today's dreamy woodland wedding is exactly that! What would normally be described as rustic, with the introduction of wind blown draping, free flowing florals, crystal & metallic accents, becomes the perfect romantic woodland wedding. With a pulse on glam, a dash of vintage, it proves that a setting is only the starting point to any vision! The team of wedding designer Marcella Camille Events along with florist Tumbleweed Floral Truck used a mix of decor pieces from Pleasanton Rentals, Joe Squared, and Gussy Up Décor to craft a sweetheart table for two under majestic redwood and oak trees along with the perfect wood gazebo lounge draped in sheer paneling & chandeliers from Chair Divas. Injecting a more masculine color palette in shades of ivory, green and orangey-reds, the team was able to make the woodland wedding accessible to all, striking the perfect balance. This woodland wedding is just further proof that no matter the locale, all it takes is a little vision!
