For the record, I loooove New Orleans. I started visiting New Orleans Bi-Yearly starting around 2004 and fell head over heels for the mystical city. The city I know is not the one filled of drunken people looking to shuck beads at willing flashers while downing every alcoholic beverage known to man. I know a city that is filled with old American history, influenced by both the Brits & the French complete with a deep cultural mix of samplings from around the world. The food is outstanding: I genuinely suggest you don't eat for days before hand, no joke! The joie de vivre & old world society run deeps & you find yourself in an other worldly place that is captivating no matter how many times you return.

This sweet mid-fall wedding features nature's favorite color palette strong with oranges, reds & touches of deep purples. The couple, Melissa Thomason & Phillip Chambless, actually found the charming Clifton Inn the very weekend that they got engaged! For the feel of the wedding, the couple hoped for a classic wedding with outdoor touches, featuring a tree side coffee station, lawn games & even a Bourbon Bar! As a final touch, the couple invited guests to help them celebrate in their big moment by joining in on a late night sparkler send off!
Today's feature wedding is a sweet early fall affair in New England. The couple brought 2 worlds together & celebrated both in style. Hill Stead Museum provided the perfect backdrop for this colorful fall outdoor wedding. I love the couple's idea of how they handled table numbers, though I must admit, it made my head hurt to think!

I have a special Monday morning treat for everyone! This gorgeous wedding is light, bright & chalk full of stunning colors to wake up your senses! Larissa Carter & Tony Smith put on one lovely affair out at the South Coast Botanic Gardens in Palos Verdes Estates, California. Larissa & Tony achieved a feat not always easy to meet, creating a down home slightly rustic wedding complete with mason jar escort cards, seed box planters, & an outdoor reception with perfectly styled lanterns all the while keeping it classic & elegant. While those components are wonderful, its the In & Out Burger & CoolHaus food trucks that take this wedding to a whole new level, never mind the stunning sunset....rainbow! Oh & just a heads up, the groom & his men have a bit of a surprise for our bride! I love it!
