1. A Modern Snow White Wedding Nestled In The Country

Fairy tales inspires us in a great number of ways, weddings being a world that they so easily translate into. Our feature today, from a very talented wedding vendor crew out in California, draws inspiration from the essence of Snow White. The beauty to the styled shoot as a whole is their ability to not be too literal making it utterly crush worthy! Imagine a modern day Snow White Wedding, sweetly nestled into a California ranch, where crisp blue jeans & homemade pies lead the way. The inspired crew navigated the fairy tale as inspiration, creating a playful outdoor wedding that is not just accessible but something I am sure will resonate with many of you. Even though this Snow White wedding, photographed by White Rabbit Photo Boutique has moved to the country, there are chic details at every turn elevating the overall affair. Jaqueline’s Home Decor sourced strong pieces from the pie table featuring treats from I Like Pie Bakeshop to the petite hutch. The table setting taunted hints of our fairy tale in the form of carved wood chargers as well as birds nest & Snow White's blue bird friends decorated by Barbara Cheatleys. Blooms make...

  2. Homespun Camp Wedding At Austin’s The Plant at Kyle

It's been a while since I've found myself not just with a face wide grin but literally chuckling out loud while making selections for a wedding. Don't get me wrong, each wedding I choose to share is lovely, filled with delightful treats of beauty & heart, but some weddings more then others have an undeniable focus on family & fun. Such is the case with the truly dynamic Austin Texas Camp Wedding of Cindy & Richard! Parallel to their desire to express their love as a couple, Cindy & Richard wanted to craft a weekend long adventure that celebrated their family and friends in the most deliciously whimsical of ways. Naturally the idea of a camp wedding was born, complete with custom wedding logo highlighting the weekend long activities of games, bonfires and the like, largely played out during the reception. A bold color palette of red, blue & yellow further brought to life the camp wedding mentality, expressed beautifully in candle topped painted bottles that ran down the long reception tables. What ensued is quite possibly one of the bigger wedding treats...

  3. Colorful Florida Wedding At A Pop-Up Soda Shoppe

Day 2 of our two part series from the creative team of Florida wedding vendors turns up the dial in such a joyful way! If you missed Day 1, be sure to check it out here! Inspired by the rich vibrant hues in Connie Duglin Linens swatch book, the team brought to life a rainbow inspired palette of turquoise, yellow & fuchsia as imagined into a 1940's style pop up soda shoppe! The beauty to this playful facade is how wonderfully interactive that it is from the ability to nip behind and into the store window to the flower box out front filled with cascading greens by Floral Artistry. A sweetheart low boy table was erected out front for cocktails post ceremony, dressed in the bold linens from Connie Duglin's collection while guests were served.... handcrafted sodas in matching hues of course! The rest is in the details from Anna & Kerry's gorgeous retro prep style to their utterly unstoppable smiles & laughter. Sometimes such bold hues can be difficult to work with...

  4. A Modern Chic Bride With A Pension For Vintage Touches

Perhaps my favorite wedding trend that is, I am predicting, going to catch fire this year, is the mashing up of styles. I have always been one to believe just because you favor one style, one theme etc, it doesn't meant that every single little detail needs to mirror simply and only that. Case in point is this lovely little bridal session from Texas wedding photographer Al Gawlik Photography, in which a stunning modern, wonderfully chic bride is seamlessly complimented by a world of vintage details. In the past brides have felt the need to style themselves to match their environments. The beauty here is in the mix and just how wonderfully the jive & inspire. Lushly blown out locks paired with a ruched bodice wedding dress give a fresh modern feel while elements like a classic chair & wine crates craft a unique juxtaposition of feels making our more current day looking bride truly pop. Think of it as the floral print to your stripes if you will. In conversation you might not think they go, but when you start pulling the prints together, you'd be truly delighted at just how harmonious of a world that they can create!
