Today's feature wedding is a sweet early fall affair in New England. The couple brought 2 worlds together & celebrated both in style. Hill Stead Museum provided the perfect backdrop for this colorful fall outdoor wedding. I love the couple's idea of how they handled table numbers, though I must admit, it made my head hurt to think!

Little known fact, believe it or not, I grew up on a farm. I have a special kinship & draw to lovely farm weddings as a result. Today's wedding has some pretty wonderful details but its things that you dont see on paper that really make this wedding so lovely! Firstly, check out that sky at the ceremony! While it makes for some amazing lighting in the photographs, I really applaud the guests for holding strong facing some pretty ammonius skies! Additionally this wedding was a big family affair with everyone helping out to make for such a wonderful day! The day came together beautifully, & the bride looks gorgeous and I love the back of her dress!

What a way to kick off the week! I am completely captivated & excited to share this wedding! There is nothing I love more then imagery that without a doubt not only visually shows how emotionally charged a wedding is, but how incredibly fun it was too! Carrie Spindler & Devon Jaffier were married on August 13, 2011 in Rye, NY. As with most brides, Carrie had a specific vision in mind for her wedding, & from the very start sophistication was its name.
The hubby & I are headed back up to Vermont this weekend to do some leaf peepin! The trip is 2 parts pleasure, one part husband with itchy feet, haha. Personally I find fall weddings lovely. There is such a wonderful warm color palette to work with & nature provides some pretty amazing back drops all on its own. For your eye candy, I have put together a little fall wedding inspiration. As we will be off running through the trees this weekend, we'll be a bit quiet here this weekend, so Happy Friday all & see your bright and shiny Monday morning!
