Photographed by Trahms Photography, our bride's own wedding dress sets the tone, a keepsake passed down through her family worn by her mother and grandmother prior. Playing on the haunting surroundings, an outdoor reception table was set lined with gold chargers and skinny candles set a top fresh apples, all accented by lush sprawling blooms that run down the center. Sprawling blooms along the table served as the perfect jump off point to florist Lilia Flower Boutique creations, from two gorgeous floral crowns to a stunning overflowing bouquet. Each exquisite arrangement features not just flowers from the markets, but odds and ends locally found and foraged for, making for the most authentic of creations. With such a vibrant and moody color palette set for this apple orchard wedding, only a gorgeous gold metallic and black wedding cake that every so dreamily echoed the outdoor reception tablesacpe would do!     Pure Texas bliss is the best way to sum up Heidi and Ethan's dreamy little Belton Texas wedding. Every detail was chosen to evoke an elevated sense of Texas romance, from the farm wood reception tables set with vintage chairs and china to the neatly folded napkins, each accented by a rosemary clipping to greet the guests. Mercury glass candles dotted the room providing the perfect romantic setting, while a bountiful statement floral suspended centerpiece swayed over the sweetheart table. Matching in floral awe, the couple's ceremony arch was accented by generous blooms in a gorgeous asymmetrical design that was as stunning as it was stately. To capture the southwest spirit of a Texas wedding, the groom's cake, a simple white buttercream treat baked by the Heidi's 86 year old grandmother, was topped with 2 cactus hearts, hand selected by the groom, paired with donut towers, the groom's favorite!     Farm to table has made a beautiful resurgence of late, not just in the designation of where our food is coming from but as an embodied spirit for design as well. When a team of Texas wedding vendors got together at the historic Grand Texana dairy barn, they knew that infusing the wedding decor with lush bounty from the earth was the perfect wedding design cue for their barn wedding. Vintage furniture pieces from Love Birds Vintage Rentals were utilized to craft a free floating fireplace mantle ceremony space that dripped in lush greens. Two unique tablescapes were crafted for the barn wedding, a smaller table set against a picture window like sliding door, while the other, a larger more stately wooden farm table, was made complete with a tumbling greenery runner. A favorite piece to the decor overall however was a farmer's market like display which featured a harvest like bounty of carrots, artichokes, lettuce and more. From a wedding design stand point it's important to realize how incredibly cool something as easily looked over as produce can become gorgeous decor.
