1. Vintage Finds & Runaway Kitties In This San Francisco Golden Gate Park Elopement

    The drama that surrounds a wedding, big or small, is not always for everyone. Sometimes the very core of a wedding, the ceremony and declaration of love, is all that truly matters to a couple. Such is the case for Erika Wynn & Chris Leeder, who decided that while on their vacation to San Francisco {by way of Traverse City, Michigan} to capitalize on their gorgeous surroundings and elope! Armed with some truly spectacular vintage finds from a local shop back in Michigan {I.Love.This.Dress!!!}, Erika & Chris reached out to bay area officiants, Lyssabeth's Wedding Officiants to get them on their way. Utilizing a pagoda in the Golden Gate Park, our couple sweetly said 'I do' while being photo bombed by a run away cat.... on a harness! Rest easy friends, the feline guest was returned to his owner, well Meo Baaklini Photography snapped away capturing not only the love but all the funny little details the day held, kitty included! This elopement is wonderful as can be and I utterly adore the expression on the officiants face while Chris is putting the ring on Erika's hand! Talk about someone who likes what they do!!! From the last minute passionate decision to elope to the their obviously stylish threads, this elopement is ripe with golden love! {Yeah I went there!}

  2. Romantic & Elegant Elopement Among The Venice Canals For This Worldly Greek Couple

    Simple elopements as an option for marriage are often forgotten in lieu of a more common place ceremony and celebration surrounded by our family & closest friends. Efi Skrekou & Gianni Skrekou, a Greek couple currently residing in Germany, opted to keep the ceremony portion of their wedding simple & private, jetting off to Venice. Wanting to capture the special moments of their private day they teamed up with Luca Faz Photographer in Venice who provided them with some gorgeous imagery! The couple met with Luca at Carnival Palace where they then jumped on a vaporetto which took them to the Greek consulate in San Zaccaria. There, under the Greek eye, they made it official. The couple will be heading back to Greece soon to celebrate in a much more 'Big Fat Greek Wedding' style, embraced by family and friends!

  3. An Intimate English Town Hall Wedding & Crown Celebration With Musical Notes As Punctuation

    Small intimate weddings can be just as powerful, sometimes even more so, then larger wedding fetes. This gorgeous lil English wedding is certainly no exception! Maria Silvestri and Joe Wilson opted to for a more intimate, almost city hall type affair, getting married in the same Town Hall as both Paul McCartney and Ringo, not to shabby in the iconic figures in British history department! Certainly not wanting to miss out on the celebrating, our sweet couple joined friends & family for a bright & airy dinner that truly allowed guests to be close with the couple & share in the creation of their wedding day memory. This wedding is clearly filled with the love between Maria & Joe, while each small detail clue into their special bond. There are some really lovely moments between captured by Esvy Photography that perfectly show how at ease our bride & groom are with one another, so very two peas in a pod!

  4. Country Chic Does Texas Right In This DIY Wedding Under The Giant Oak Trees

    Start your week off right with a sweet Texas wedding! Melanie Daniell & Matt Bowling's wedding under the giant oaks of Texas has a dreamy country feel to it. The men were outfitted in fresh crisp blue jeans, khaki blazers & naturally cowboy boots & a hat or two! The gals donned handmade mix matched floral dress by the bride's mother! It was of the utmost importance to Melanie that they married outside under the giant sprawling oak trees, to which her dream came true when they discovered Cathedral Oaks Event Center. A sturdy branch above their ceremony space was outfitted with mums which hung in glass globes in a very Labyrinth (Ps-talking about the movie) way. Tables were decorated with a combination of white mums in mason jars and birdhouses with blue wood planter stands to display their personal photos. I must say however, I am absolutely crushing on the wedding cake! Rich butter cream frosting that was whipped and styled left to be a star in and of it self! Delicate pink roses and mums were draped down the side as a finishing touch! The cake & the wedding is so very country chic!
