"Before Mara and Andrew's wedding I only had a chance to meet with the bride. When I arrived at Mercury Hall on the wedding day Mara's sister approached me and said, "Just wait until you see Mara and Andrew together they are so loving towards one another." She was absolutely right and you could feel the love in this vintage inspired DIY wedding. The bride and groom made the day so smooth, special, and laid back. The wedding had a very vintage feel with it's neutral color palette that included creams, grays, and light pink. The flowers were simple and white and displayed in elegant table settings made using vintage tea kettles, books, and candle holders. The wedding was filled with touching surprised from the bride to the groom, including a vintage car for transportation, a flash mob, and a pancake snack. The whole event made me feel like I was in the novel The Great Gatsby, with a little flair. It was simple, heartfelt, and beautifully put together."

"The day began with a sweet ceremony at Long Center for Performing Arts overlooking the gorgeous Austin skyline. Their sweet puppy Lucy walked down the aisle as ring bearer with her custom feather collar and basked in all the attention while Brooke was stunning in her Nicole Miller dress and bouquet made of feathers and succulents. After the deal was sealed, the evening festivities moved to the gorgeous garden grounds of the French Legation Museum for a Great Gatsby inspired evening of fun. The tables were decorated with Indian tapestries gifted from Jeremy’s dad, and some were even laid out into a picnic style area front and center of the stage. Vividly spray painted succulents in different shapes and sizes acted as the perfect accents to each table. The White Ghost Shivers warmed everybody up and got everyone moving, then LCD Soundsystem cover band All My Friends kicked the dance party into high gear. Even when the power circuit blew, the guests continued singing the song a capella until the end. I especially love the wedding poster that was designed by the bride and groom themselves! It was created to look like a show poster, and made for an awesome favor for the guests! At the end of the night, Brooke & Jeremy ran through a tunnel of friends out to their awaiting pedi-cab and headed out to their east side Austin after-party."

Sometimes that job you took in high school just might lead you to the love of your life, which is exactly what happened in Elisabeth Frakes & Chris Landry's case. While working at Abercrombie, our couple formed a bond which then lead to marriage! Chris's proposal happened high in the skies, spelling out "Will you marry me" on the ground, then taking Elisabeth up in a plane to see! With such a stellar proposal, only a luxury Dallas wedding would do! Marrying at the Covenant Church, Elisabeth & Chris were then swept off in a gorgeous Rolls, heading to their fuchsia light reception featuring tall floral centerpieces, floating candle illuminares & a stunning textured tiered cake with a to die for real rose mid layer! Rounding out their evening, was a photo booth complete with awesome props & a sparkler sendoff!

There is a certain mystic to Cape Cod weddings. A feel of old world and tradition. Ashleigh Carney & Matthew Carney recently married at the Orleans Inn in Connecticut, playing up bright poppy colors of fuchsia, orange, green & touches of light pink. Opting to stage their ceremony next to a stunning old gray windmill along the bay, Ashleigh & Matthew created a dreamy world for their wedding day. Playing in the sand, posing the beach cruisers, our couple made the most of their Cape Cod wedding!
