Inspired by William Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet, a team of local West Virginia wedding pros turned The Carriage House into a wonderfully romantic winter wedding. Working with rich textures like fur and velvet, a complimentary color palette of deep reds and blush pinks were selected to breathe life into their winter wedding. A stunning vintage soft pink tufted couch from The Mustard Couch created the most gorgeous portrait opportunity, perfect for canoodling. Wanting to taking a playful turn, an outdoor reception table was set, lined with rich greens dotted by organic detailing such as picturesque pomegranates. Really giving off the romantic storybook feel is combination of stone locale in the Carriage House plus our bride's stunning long sleeved full skirt Hayley Paige. Maybe its just me, but this is the kind of winter wedding everyone goes nuts about!

This sweet little treat from Ohio wedding photographer DiBlasio Photography showcases what I hope will become a much desired wedding trend of 2017! On paper this bed & breakfast wedding reads like an easy breezy casual affair. It is however, the gorgeous sophisticated styling that sets this orchard wedding apart! Prime for 2017 wedding trends stardom, its the combination of a casual atmosphere met with refined elevated wedding decor details that creates the perfect environment. Nestled in on the garden grounds of The Orchard House Granville, the orchard wedding is brought to life with a mixture of reclaimed wood furniture paired with stately floral china and etched glassware. No orchard wedding would be complete without some of its local fare utilized as accents, as such, plums and apples dance throughout the tablescape. In the spirit of the modern boho bride, the team selected an art deco inspired lace body hugging gown from La Jeune Mariee Bridal Boutique. I love a bit of drama and this classic vintage bridal at Biltmore Village Inn beautifully embodies just that! Wanting to work with something a bit more sensual, the team opted for a boudoir come bridal portrait session captured by Audrey Goforth Photography, tucked into one of the stately rooms at the inn. Playing off the historic bed & breakfast interior, the a deep moody palette was brought to life centered around berry rich hued florals, styled by Flowers by Larry. In order to inject a fresh modern take on the vintage bridal style, a stunning bead work lace top wedding dress from Wildflower Bridal served as the centerpiece, a departure from the more common strapless gowns we see all too often. A long Rapunzel-couture inspired braid from Love, Daisy and classic red-lip look by Beauty by Carisse amped up the overall look and feel, while a watercolor calligraphy invitation suite from Long Village Studio & wedding cake from Tiffany's Baking Co. added soft feminine touches. The result is a timeless look that is every bit classic and vintage as it is modern!
