Italy is simply one of those places that inspires endless wanderlust dreams. From falling in love to romantic getaways to trips of a lifetime and European weddings, the romantic notion that is Italy is simply everything! Jenna & Cory felt much the same way and saw the perfect opportunity to combine an amazing Italian Tuscan getaway with just a few of their closest into a chic, intimate Florence Italy wedding. The beauty to Jenna & Cory's Tuscan wedding is in the elegance and simplicity. Nestled into Villa Torricella cobble stone courtyard, the couple enlisted the aid of Italian wedding planners Getting Married In Italy to craft the perfect al fresco wedding. Folding wood chairs were adorned with lace ribbons, while potted plants and a stucco archway framed the couple with the most picturesque hillside backdrop. After the ceremony guests joined the couple for a private dinner in a setting that is easily filed under Italy wedding dreams set under an ivy canopy! While the choice wedding details were absolute perfection, it was Jenna & Cory's own wedding style that truly made it everything. From the long sleeve open back lace wedding dress & stunning tassel heels to Cory's trim fit tux, their wedding is the style, sophistication and ease that makes an Italy wedding swell with so much wanderlust!

Everyday is the perfect day to feature a gorgeous seaside wedding! Factor in the old world New England locale of the Eisenhower House in Rhode Island and you have the makings for the perfect Newport wedding! Definitely not one short on stylishly crafted seaside inspired wedding decor, Sarah & Ryan's Newport wedding features special treats like a mix of eyelet lace linen draped tables with farm wood mixed that feature a mix of centerpiece arrangements. To evoke that perfect seaside spirit yet remain wonderfully chic, stately blooms from florist Weedweavers were intermixed with the likes of rustic lanterns, vintage galvanized pales, netting and of course clusters of seashells! While every little detail that brought the Newport Wedding to life was the perfect kind of dreamy, it was Sarah's sophisticated 2 piece Carol Hannah that stole my heart! Featuring a sheer halter top paired with a flowing floor length blush skirt, when paired with her baby blue TOMS espadrilles, Sarah's stunning bridal style is the stuff Newport wedding dreams are made of! On hand to capture such an elegant day, New York wedding photographer Eileen Meny Photography traveled up the coast for Sarah & Ryan's seaside fete, capturing each special moment and every little detail, to perfection!

This sweet little Austin wedding might be light on a bevvy of wedding detailing, but it more than makes up for it in charm! Amanda & Andre went back to Amanda's Texas roots when it came time to plan their wedding from abroad. Andre, being from Switzerland, followed her lead, creating the most perfect Austin wedding nestled in at Barr Mansion. This Austin wedding venue is a dreamy locale from its white washed estate home to the enduring little white chapel in the back. The couple choose to only add only small touches here and there to keep the beauty of the property the star. Stems Floral did a terrific job crafting understated arrangements that were just the right touch, in a wash of pinks & orange accented by navy. My favorite piece to the day however is Amanda's magnetic smile and a laugh that seems to translate through images, something I am betting is part of what made Andre fall in love with her! Texas wedding photographer Photo by Betsy did a beautiful job capturing each sweet moment in moody gorgeousness and I just know you'll fall for this sweet little Austin wedding!
Today's wedding is extra special to me in a way that no other wedding ever could be. First and foremost, its the couple... my little sister and the one who finally stole her heart. Secondly, its their uniquely cool chemistry wedding theme that I had the pleasure of articulating for them in styling and florals. When I look back I realize how much their wedding was a true unintentional fingerprint of just who my sister and I are, two very different people. She, an engineer; myself, creatively minded. When Christy & James got engaged a million ideas started to flow about their wedding. Gatsby Gatsby, Art Deco!! Very quickly after exploring venues they realized that while they loved the idea, it wasn't them. Soon enough they knew the right choice, an organic chemistry wedding nestled into their very own backyard. Immediately following that decision came the science flavored shopping spree of beakers, test tubes, microscopes, vintage chemistry sets (complete with mercury, yes mercury!), pipettes, and so many more delicious items that I will allow you to discover on your own. While those wedding decor elements are amazing as is, Christy & James' have a pension for cool interior decor pieces in the home that we had our eye on. These vintage furniture pieces were immediately liberated from their home...
