1. A Hauntingly Moody Wedding

Deliciously dark and all kinds of haunting, this moody wedding is perfection for those looking for something so much more!  Set in a mixed locale of RM Champagne + Nellcote, this haunting affair features two gorgeous brides and one dreamy groom.  Tables are extravagantly lined with burgundy floral plates intermixed with metallic chargers.  Tall pewter centerpieces tower from above, filled with a mix of peonies & ranunculus dotted by unripened green berries and purple foliage.  No moody wedding should be without a dark and mysterious chocolate cake, much like the scrumptious naked version that Toni Patisserie cooked up with jam sneaking out!  The rest is in the details like vintage veils, antique rings, candelabras and pillar candles to set the mood!  If you weren't in the spirit yet, this styled moody wedding will surely get you on your way!

  2. Harvest Style Halloween Dinner Party

Fun fact, my daughter was born in Sleepy Hollow New York!  This fun little relationship has reignited my excitment for Halloween, specifically the jovial lighthearted side to the holiday.  My husband and I agreed that each year we would show her the passion and delightful spirit that surrounds Halloween.  Hosting a Halloween dinner party falls perfectly inline with that!  Molly Mckinley Designs teamed up with the amazing  Rustic White Photography at the The Foundry at Puritan Mill to create a vibrant Halloween dinner party that plays on the chic whimsical side of things.  The result is a colorful tablescape dotted with big bold blooms, shapely gourds, towering black candles and an elegant modern place setting.  Food is another wonderful opportunity to not just create a epicurean experience that delights, but to add gorgeous scenery to any event like the scrumptious Butternut Squash Hummus.  If you're looking to host a Halloween dinner party, be sure to take in Molly McKinley's 10 Tips, which will help you pull off an elevated affair that is all about the wonder!

  4. Sea Glass Inspired Moody Oregon Elopement

In my early childhood years I had the unique privilege of spending a few years on a petite Caribbean island called Montserrat.  One of the incredibly cool features to the islands were rich black sand beaches.  Ever since then I have always had a sweet spot for these silky smooth oddities!  When an Oregon elopement hit my inbox from wedding photographer Blush Creative Photography set on darker sand beaches, I knew I was hooked.  The Oregon coastline is a thing of goddess like beauty and the locale of this styled shoot only served to hence the elegant moody affair.  A simple sweetheart table with details like seaglass pieces and draped fabric picked up on the natural surroundings.  Injecting a touch of color into the neutral surroundings, cool greens, baby blues & pale pinks accented the Oregon elopement.  The last piece to the puzzle was a dove grey gown from Joanna August that joyfully danced in the wind.  This vision of an Oregon elopement is simple perfection, as an elopement doesn't have to mean something light on style just because there are not a hoard of guests to see it.
