1. Folksy Indie Woodland Wedding With A Boho Spirit

By the sheer nature of their location alone, woodland weddings have a certain magic to them.  Whether the over arching theme is something that of botanical elegance or perhaps something a little more folksy and bohemian, the forest setting offers couples the ability to be whatever it is they want to be. A team of Ohio wedding pros got together to put on an indie inspired woodland wedding that was influenced by acoustic love. Whether late fall or early spring, the styled shoot serves as inspiration for that of a minimalist wedding with a slight touch of BoHo flair.  Featuring a color palette that complements their quiet surroundings, hues of blush, forest green and pale blue bring just the right touch of color.  Details such as the lace table runner covered in foresty greens and skyscraper like candles and the marbled softly hued wedding cake...

  2. Whimsical Spring Infused Texas Wedding At The Creek Haus

As I write this post, the irony isnt lost on me.  When Texas wedding photographer Angela King Photo sent this dreamy styled shoot my way some months ago, I pleaded to let me hold it back with the intention of featuring it right as spring was truly coming to life.  Meanwhile, here in the northeast anyway, we're on our 5/6th snow in a month.... its April, people, April.  So instead, I now share this with you tied up in wanderlust for a warmer, sweeter time, living vicariously through Angela's images.  I'm a sucker for flowers, this a known fact, and easily one of the key pieces that drew me to this Texas wedding.  A bevvy of blooms dance through each vignette, be it the drippy garland for portraits, the petite bridal floral crown, or the lush multiple piece tablescape.  A floral roll call if you will of amaranthus, blue cornflower, peach stock, and succulents, form the garland of the beautiful site for a ceremony and couple’s portraits. The bride’s bouquet is a mix of jasmine vine, silver dollar and seeded eucalyptus, blue delphinium...

  3. Modern Celestial Wedding Inspired By Davids Bridal Jewel Tone Bridesmaid Dresses

The heavens have inspired the people of the world for centuries.  Whether its the twinkle in the sky, the beauty of the twilight colors or the mystique of another place so many worlds away, our heads swim with their euphoric enchantment.  Its only fitting that such a thing would influence and inspire the wedding worlds as well.  The idea of a celestial wedding brings a jewel tone palette, a dash of metallic detailing, and bevvy of geometric inspiration.  When our friends at Love Inc saw David’s Bridal Ruffle Trim Faux Wrap Bridesmaid Dress collection, they knew a celestial wedding was the perfect way to showcase the figure loving bridesmaid dresses, no matter your style preference, shape, size or budget.

  4. Hudson Valley Minimalist Loft Wedding With Tropical Detailing

Inspired by real life couple Jennifer and Chris, who married in the Dominican Republic, a team of Hudson Valley wedding vendors wanted to create seasonless styled tropical wedding inspiration.  The result is a dreamy little minimalist loft wedding that blends a modern atmosphere with tropical fauna.  Freeing themselves from seasonal restraints, the design evokes a windswept outdoor aesthetic in a fresh urban way by housing Lady Slipper Orchid stems in solitary glass vessels by the plenty.  The bride's look is another nod to tropics, a lace wedding dress that features a convertible skirt, something perfect for tropical destination weddings.  Keeping in the more modern loft wedding spirit, a lace overlay from BHLDN was added, giving the overall look a more timeless, classic feel.  Simple, delicate, well appointed details are the touches that bring this minimalist loft wedding to life.  There is a beauty in the retrain and flavor in the dash of color.
