1. Country Rustic Virginia Wedding In Shades Of Cafe Au Lait

Hallee Jones & Zach Milot wanted a simple day filled with all the chic trimmings that a rustic Virgina country wedding could offer. Nestled in at the Northside Christian Church in Yorktown, Virginia, shades of Cafe Au Lait filled the day. Bridesmaids were dressed in long satin dresses in shades of champagne, while the men donned smart light beige pants & vests. Gentle touches of lace, vintage furniture as well as hand made fabric flowers accented the room while hand painted signage guided guests to each occasion throughout the day. Tables were set with thick wood slices topped with mason jars filled of candles wrapped in burlap and lace greeting guests at the reception. Hallee & Zach's country fete was perfectly chic & wonderfully homey in all the right places with gorgeous shades of Latte to match fall's sweet charms!

  2. Rustic DIY Vintage Chic Wedding At The Rio Grande Winery In Mustard & Navy

I love those moments when I develop wedding crushes as I put together a feature. Today's gorgeous rustic DIY fete fits that bill perfectly for me from the way that the story was told through the artful eye of Latisha Lyn Photography to the couple, Jenae Olson & Roderick Mendoza, who I find supremely enchanting. When I first got back the commentary from Jenae on her wedding day and saw a solid block of info regarding their story, I initially thought, oh my! As I read through all the back story, I am pretty sure I fell in love right along with them only to learn there is the most amazing video of their proposal as a bonus! As it turns out Roderick is something of an amateur photographer and managed to create the most heart string strumming video, all while hiking around Lost Lake leading up to and including his proposal. The beauty of it all is that it is simply just the two of them, no flash mobs, nothing over the top, just Jenae & Roderick along the shore of the lake while the rain is softly falling, the moment preserved in its entirety. I dare you not to fall in love right along with them! Naturally there wedding was just as special, just as touching, heart felt & full of gorgeous smiles and laughter. The couple put on a terrific DIY affair filled with burlap, vintage bottles, old suitcases all accented by hand done wild flower arrangements under the guise of a designer family friend. Latisha Lyn Photography is an equal player in making their day such a gorgeous memory, capturing moments in a stunning moody light. Enjoy this treat of a wedding, as I know you will, and be sure to check out their proposal video {link in the Novella of the Bride}!

  3. Whimsical Beach Wedding With Chic Finished Along The Coast Of Carlsbad California

Ocean views & chic surroundings, what more could a gal want in a dreamy spot to say 'I Do'! Finding one of their mutual loves in the ocean, Alexis Hunt & Hunter Rowe knew that they wanted the majestic beauty of coastline as their backdrop yet a location that was chic & sophisticated. The Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort turned out to be just such a perfect location, offering up a gorgeous grassy special space just large enough to host an intimate wedding along the coastline. Alexis was wonderfully stunning in a ruched gown while donning the most full & gorgeous elbow length veil. The ladies wore bright & fun short dresses from J.Crew in periwinkle with nude pumps while the boys were all sharp in tuxes and sunglasses of course! Alexis & Hunter are the perfect picture, beautiful & classic with all the right touches!

  4. Eclectic Chic North Carolina Country Wedding In Robin’s Egg Blue Featuring Petite Porcelain Figurines

Alexa & Colt first came my way only a few short months ago with their completely amazing engagement session that has some serious Wes Anderson vibes going on. It was unique, thoughtful & creative, certainly a Storyboard Wedding all time favorite! When Cole Gorman, of Blest Photography, a North Carolina based wedding photographer, remarked to me after the feature that Alexa would love to have us feature her wedding, it was possibly one of the easier 'Yeses' I have ever said in my life! When the photos finally tumbled into my inbox, well to put it mildly, I was IN.LOVE. Alexa & Colt's cool style had rolled off in spades onto their wedding day in the form of porcelain figurines, painted deer antlers, eclectic lounge set ups, empty frames, vintage touches & so much more! One of the most wonderful and certainly most meaningful elements of the wedding process, was how just about every piece to their wedding puzzle was touched or effected by someone close to them. The venue- generously lent by their neighbors, her dress-hand sewen by her mother, flowers & mixed centerpieces- hand crafted by Alexa herself along with the aid of her closest friends. Adding to these gorgeous homespun touches was a collection of unique antique items & furniture that was collected from friends & family as well as some items Alexa & Colt have procured over the years. Perhaps the coolest of the vintage pieces however, is a ....
