When you start off with a backdrop like the sprawling garden grounds of Camarillo Ranch, its easy to simply rest on the beauty that is around you. What many couple's dont realize is that a stunning backdrop is simply the start, that armed with the right team you dial up your surroundings into a botanical wedding dream like no other. Inspired by the bohemian spirit, California wedding photographer Christy McCarter Photography, event planner Sincerely Jessie Events and Dish Wish Events along with the keen floral eye of Dulce Floral Design created the perfect boho botanical wedding that reads like a dream! Details like a wild botanical bouquet, low back wedding dress with free flowing skirt, Gypsy style sweetheart table tucked away into the garden and so much more, its easy to swoon with each little piece. There is a reason that a bohemian vibe is so in favor, accent that spirit with botanical sensibilities and its utterly beyond!

Having just styled a chemistry wedding myself, my ears perked up a bit extra when this geology wedding hit my inbox! Pretty weddings are pretty, but there really is something to be said for those that have a unique vision and are articulated in such a meaningful and beautiful way! Inspired by the bride who cringes at lace and feels more at home with dirt under her french manicured nails, D.Lillian Photography put together what she calls The Geologist's Guide To Highway 1. The intimate and small setting was crafted with those in mind that love nature. Filled with delightful wedding decor that celebrates a geology wedding, details like a field guide book, camping lanterns, geodes, and potters plates add the perfect touches. In lieu of a traditional dessert display, our bride simply pops open her Outback, showcasing delicious treats upon her textbooks and supplies. The beauty to this geology wedding is that it celebrates something outside the wedding norm, all while proving to be equally as stylish and beautiful.

Farm to table has made a beautiful resurgence of late, not just in the designation of where our food is coming from but as an embodied spirit for design as well. When a team of Texas wedding vendors got together at the historic Grand Texana dairy barn, they knew that infusing the wedding decor with lush bounty from the earth was the perfect wedding design cue for their barn wedding. Vintage furniture pieces from Love Birds Vintage Rentals were utilized to craft a free floating fireplace mantle ceremony space that dripped in lush greens. Two unique tablescapes were crafted for the barn wedding, a smaller table set against a picture window like sliding door, while the other, a larger more stately wooden farm table, was made complete with a tumbling greenery runner. A favorite piece to the decor overall however was a farmer's market like display which featured a harvest like bounty of carrots, artichokes, lettuce and more. From a wedding design stand point it's important to realize how incredibly cool something as easily looked over as produce can become gorgeous decor. There is an earthy spirit to this barn wedding as a whole, from the floral arrangements...

One of my favorite things that florists are doing nowadays involves a bit of modern flora hunting! Instead of heading to the fridges of their local flower markets, florists like FluidBloom Designs are opting to challenge themselves by working with greenery that is around them in the wild. Such is the stunning found forage foliage bouquet crafted for today's gorgeous bohemian bridal session at La Purisima Mission photographed by wedding photographer Alexandra Wallace. With a uniquely historical backdrop like the mission, Seabiscuit was filmed there!, Alexandra really allowed the dreamy locale and hauntingly beautiful natural light to shape each moment. Wedding dresses from Daughters of Simone flitted in the wind beautifully echoing the oversized foraged bouquet. The bohemian bridals as a whole are something otherworldly and the bouquet is everything!
