Infused by a vibrant jewel tone color palette, this spirit of equestrian wedding is nestled into the forest at Chapel in the Woods. From ceremony to reception, there is an element of whimsy that carries through the day starting with the dark wood dual door entryway that seemingly floats between the trees for the perfection ceremony backdrop. A special touch is the potted ferns that line the aisle capitalizing on their forest locale vibe. For the equestrian wedding reception, a table is set within the stables, while horses take in the affair. A mix of fuchsia, purple and turquoise bring the table to life in the form of details like generous blooms and linens. A favorite touch of ours are the horse figurine escort cards that welcome guests, the perfect playful equestrian wedding touch! Whether end of summer or early spring, the mix of bold palette, wooded locale and elevated wedding details make for the perfect mix!

Farm to table has made a beautiful resurgence of late, not just in the designation of where our food is coming from but as an embodied spirit for design as well. When a team of Texas wedding vendors got together at the historic Grand Texana dairy barn, they knew that infusing the wedding decor with lush bounty from the earth was the perfect wedding design cue for their barn wedding. Vintage furniture pieces from Love Birds Vintage Rentals were utilized to craft a free floating fireplace mantle ceremony space that dripped in lush greens. Two unique tablescapes were crafted for the barn wedding, a smaller table set against a picture window like sliding door, while the other, a larger more stately wooden farm table, was made complete with a tumbling greenery runner. A favorite piece to the decor overall however was a farmer's market like display which featured a harvest like bounty of carrots, artichokes, lettuce and more. From a wedding design stand point it's important to realize how incredibly cool something as easily looked over as produce can become gorgeous decor. There is an earthy spirit to this barn wedding as a whole, from the floral arrangements...

When something dark and dreamy comes my way I always get a little more excited. Weddings are always thought of as white, bright, and full tilt classic storybook. The problem is that that particular mindset only truly appeals to a selection of bride, not everyone. I am delighted to be able to share a bridal session that features wonderfully moody bridal style that is inspired by a fairy tale with a bit of edge photographed by Magdalene Photography. This beauty is shoot on location at the secret garden like oasis of Flora Flowershop in Door County, Wisconsin. Featuring a voluminous Mori Lee wedding dress from I Do Bridal of sparkling tulle, our bride begins her journey in a gathered cathedral veil crafted to create a hair fascinator like effect. As the shoot progresses, our bride trades in her more formal veil for a wild and free organic floral crown. Her loose flowing locks and darker makeup by A&A Artistry, pick up on the more sultry dramatic cues, giving us relief from the more storied white weddings we see so often. This moody bridal session is a delight, something I know will appeal to all brides looking for an alternative to the standard weddings we see each day.
With a touch of french country provincial flair, today's gorgeously styled tablescapes are inspired by the unique linens and table runners from Candy Crush Shop. Playing with a mix of lace, sequin and linen runners, the team, lead by wedding event designer Petite Pomme Event Design, crafted three elegant table settings that embody a dreamy serenity blue & rose quartz wedding. Furniture, china, and vintage rentals in the form of an old trunk, wooden tables and mixed chairs from Trunks & Tales beautifully came together to create three distinct looks, each gorgeously classic and wonderfully chic. Whether its blue glass goblets or ceramic plates & cups filled with delicate blooms, there is something ever so perfect about each. Wedding florist Fringe Flower Company did a beautiful job crafting floral designs that complimented each table setting design using low centerpieces that drew out the beauty to a serenity blue & rose quartz wedding. To perfectly compliment the dreamy orchard setting, Batter Up Cakery put together the most gorgeously sophisticated 4 tier buttercream whipped wedding cake, accented by wisps of rosy watercolor...
