One of my favorite pieces to weddings is the gobsmackingly beautiful bridal fashion. From modern to classic to gorgeously glam bridal style, there are so many brilliant ways to go! Philippine wedding photographer Jessie Villegas of Capturing Smiles Photography recently teamed up with a few other amazing local vendors to craft 4 wonderfully romantic glam bridal looks that show, with just the right touches, how utterly stunning and perfectly glam one can become! Whether is loosely curled flowing locks or hair that is sleeked back with a bold lip and smoldering eye by the beauty team of Len-Len Anaya and Kevin Abdala, each look has its own personality! While beauty is every bit the show stopper, let's be honest, its the gowns that command the glam bridal style! Each dress, whether lace applique or flowing tulle, came from FIONA CLARA by Alma Mae Roa, offering up a delicious buffet for the eyes to work with! While we play no favorites, there is certainly no shortage of glam bridal style to inspire today!

Gorgeous florals plus wonderfully dreamy moody photography is practically my kryptonite. Dial in the most perfect hair & makeup, a dewy faced model and body skimming wedding dresses into almost hauntingly dreamy bridal style and well... just consider me down for the count into wedding oblivion! Storyboard Wedding fave & resident beauty expert, New York City hair & makeup artist Beauty by Eden Di Bianco recently teamed up with New York wedding photographer Claudia McDade to breathe some life into a late spring bridal style session that was deeply inspired by the Art Nouveau stylings inspired by 'La Primavere' by Alphonse Mucha. To start with, generous large blossom floral crowns were constructed by New York City florist Aurora Botanica in a mix of deeply moody hues from purple, coral and minty hellebores. Each arrangement is carefully crafted to emphasize the beauty of each bloom all while playing the perfect supporting role to every other aspect of the overall look. To capture the essence that is Art Nouveau, Eden focused on perfecting a creamy, natural complexion without hard contouring and romantic but simple hair with texture and movement, a look that served to enhance fawn like Delaney's naturally soft beauty. The most perfect thing about bridal style is how personal you...

During each bridal market there is one designer who I am eager to see most above the others. This designer is, in every possible best way, the outlier. With a background in architecture, his designs always play by their own set of rules, rules that trickle down to unique fabric choices, structure and pattern creation. An Angel Sanchez wedding dress is easily one of the more identifiable gowns from afar, almost never confused for anyone's else design. Angel Sanchez's Spring 2017 Bridal Collection was inspired by a spring morning, as such, toying with pale blues in places that echo the early morning sky. What I always love to see about an Angel Sanchez wedding dress however is what unique details he will conceive of that create something otherworldly. In his spring 2017 collection there were one element I could not get enough of, what I will lovingly refer to as puzzle piece designs. These line breaks that created either the bodice of a sheer long sleeve wedding dress or those that made up the paisley teardrop sheer back of another, it is a detail point uniquely Angel. My favorite above all however is the very last dress shown below. An Angel Sanchez wedding dress that, when seen in person, was literally everything. A high neckline of the Victorian era...
Spring bridal collections are always fun to see as they are all so often inspired by the beauty that is new budding spring life. Marchesa wedding dresses typically beat to their own unique drum, crafting a style that has created legions of devotees. It's no surprise that Marchesa's Spring Summer 2017 Bridal Collection is deeply inspired by the newly flourishing life that is a spring garden. Taking perhaps an almost literal interpenetration of budding life, the Marchesa wedding dress line is filled with ornate embroideries of 3D organza roses and hand-cut petals echoing an enchanted garden surroundings. The 2017 bridal collection also plays a touch with ombre while working with dip-dyed blushes, giving off a wonderfully romantic feel. The rest is made up in tiers, ruffles, and satin ribbon touches accented by traveling necklines and sheer fabric choices. Marchesa wedding dresses are not for the faint of heart and perhaps not for everyone, but for those that do connect with this one of a kind designer, there could be no happier place to be!
