From the moment I laid eyes on Caroline Smart & Bob Shaw’s Cambridge Massachusetts Harvard wedding, ‘Easy Like A Sunday Morning’ as been strolling through my head.  There is a delicious beauty to Caroline & Bob’s approach to their Harvard wedding day, something I would love to see become more of a trend.  In lieu of a wedding party and the commotion that comes with surrounding yourself in a room full of people, the couple opted to spend the morning getting ready together.  Nestled into the most cozy of garden nook backyards, the couple celebrated their day with a slow & easy breakfast for two, allowing them to put the focus squarely where it should be, on their love and connection.  Connecticut wedding photographer Ashley Caroline Photography did a wonderful job of capturing the sweet details of the world around them, telling a story that defines the song track that has been running through my head.  With such a sophisticated take on their morning, I expected nothing less from the couple when it came to their wedding style, both in fashion as well as table setting.  A playful bold palette of vibrant pink hues intermixed with burgundy & yellow pops perfectly articulated the sense of warmth and light heartedness the couple sought.  Polish and elegance was evident in every detail of the day from the stunning sheer top on Caroline’s lace gown to the petite blooms that dotted her upswept do.  Even the table setting, lined with gold rimmed china and vintage garden inspired menus, evoked a level of romance & elegance that is hard to deny.  I feel like ‘Easy Like A Sunday Morning’ needs to become a wedding day theme song as it sets the truly perfect tone of relaxation and enjoyment, something Caroline and Bob embody!
