The roaring 20’s gave us so very much more than just Gatsby.  The 20’s was the first era to truly break out from the Victorian creed before it, raising hemlines, using far less fabric & throwing structured pomp & circumstance into the wind.  Naturally an era decked out in crystal, covered in glittery gold, filled with finery such as gorgeous unique stemware & bar carts is a design cue for weddings.  Today’s styled session captures everything dreamy & awe inspiring about the 20’s!  Form fitting wedding gowns accented by crystals upon crystals, beautiful lace head scarfs, a dashing ivory vintage ride & naturally the creme de la creme, the location, Loyola University Chicago’s Cuneo Mansion.  A grand villa of a mansion, rooms lined in gilded walls, an effortless pool hallmarking a style of a time ago, everything beautiful that echoes the 20’s.  Finishing out the feel and making for the complete package is the every interesting glassware of back when, some knotted, some bulbous, others once again trimmed in gold.  The 20’s is most certainly a look, but it is all about the attitude, they didn’t call it the roaring 20’s for nothing!
