As we shift away from the summer months, heading into the fall wedding season, there is a playful spirit that takes over. Hollywood is a fantastic source of inspiration for all things, those especially wedding. Woodland weddings are a perfect place to harness the fall energy while offering up a playland to work with. A group of California wedding pros got together, wanting to bring to life a Hollywood inspired fairy tale wedding, Snow White & The Huntsman. Taking a cue from fantasy, the team decided to articulate their vision into a woodland wedding filled with antique decor & furnishings that spoke to a time long ago. Working with pieces from a byfone era, elements like heirloom china & jewelry from Koryn of Intimate Gatherings grandmother were used. Dipping into fall’s own hues, berries and blushes from The Wild Floral Co dotted the warm tone surroundings. Wanting to capture the true adventurous nature to the cinematic revision, two stunning wedding dresses dance in the dappled woodland light playing beautifully on the lighter and darker side of the story. Bringing everything together, Victoria Johansson Photography artfully captured each savory little detail, giving life to the fairy tale story.
