If there is one thing that I love about weddings outside of the US, above all, it is how terrifically different they can be. The end game is always the same of course, love & marriage surrounded by our closest friends and family, its the journey however that is truly unique. Such is the case with Aurore & Jérome’s multi-day adventure in Kasmu Estonia gorgeously photographed by the artful eye of Estonian wedding photographer Mait Jüriado of M&J Studios. Nestled sweetly into Lainela for a 4 day long retreat, guests were given the chance to kick back and bond. Children played, a bit of golf was had along the shoreline and when the time came, everyone pitched in to create the details around Aurore & Jérome’s wonderful seaside fete! There is a gorgeous story to be told… one of getting ready in nature’s own bridal suite, a tale of a boat ride to the ceremony that ends with a bit of a strip tease in order to get everyone to shore, speeches from loved ones & finally, Aurore & Jérome saying their vows, even with spots of laughter and always plenty of love. I adore the romantic story that is told through Mait’s lens and how their wedding was a beautiful reason to bring everyone together to share in some extra special memories!
Novella of the Bride…
We are a couple working abroad, for the moment in Estonia. Wanted to share our life with our family and friends. Overall theme was gathering family and friends from all around the world ( 16 countries represented) for 4 days in a nice and cozy place where they can rest and have fun! Lainela was the perfect place to host 140 people , everyone stayed there for 4 days. Perfect for activities, many rooms? nice spot! Every helped us as we were out of any civilization? hair dresser, make up, flower, decoration.. all were handmade!
