Nelson Nevada Ghost Town has been on our radar for some time now as one of the cooler locales for engagement sessions. Not so nestled away, the ghost town is spread across the desert and features a haunting museum like memorial of all things vintage & retro from wild west like shacks & old pick up trucks to frozen in time ‘crashed’ airplanes with their head in the sand. Each element is uniquely tarnished by desert life & time in the sun giving an otherworldly feel. Naturally such interest surroundings makes for one heck of a place for a photo shoot, and when this Nelson Nevada Ghost Town wedding came my way, I couldn’t wait to share it! Kim & Andrew Ayers kept things small with a intimate elopement in the town, clearly sentimental & overflowing with love. After the nuptials the stylish couple headed out into the desert for gorgeous portraits among the vintage collection. The ghost town is so cool to me and I find it to be such a sweet place for an event, most certainly a wedding! I can’t wait to share more as they come!
