As promised only just a few days ago in our Bridal Faux Hawk Braid Wedding Hair Tutorial, a Sunday treasure awaited in the form of the full RocknRoll chic bride who has sophistication in spades! We loved the mix of a wedding hair style that struts its stuff on the edgy side, all while paired with a total package the simply radiates polished perfection at every turn. We imagined a bride who flirts with the wild side, yet has a deep passion for fashion forward edge all while done in good taste. Playing up a wonderfully romantic feminine & flirty bride, we put Laurel in jaw dropping Austin Scarlett wedding dress crafted in the most perfect shade of pink. To bridge the gap between something so soft & sweet as Austin's whimsical wedding gown married with our fauxhawk braid wedding hair, we turned up the volume in the form of accessories creating the total package. Donning details like tortoise shell earrings accented by diamond-like jewels, a heavy metal multi-chain dirty gold necklace with matching jewel like detailing finished with simple black patent pumps, we brought both worlds together in harmony. The result is a look that is polished, perfect & every bit edgy without going overboard.

  2. Indie Utah Engagement Session Set In The Driftwood Hills

If there is nothing that I love more, its a simply beyond engagement session where the 'theme' is the stunning photographic stylings. When SBW friend, Canadian wedding photographer Michaeal Rousseau Photography, has a pet project, look out..... its something that I have learned recently and we all could not be more fortunate for it! Armed with a not too shabby on the eyes indie couple, Michael & co set out into the Utah wilderness to capture a certainly sweet albeit a bit haunting Utah engagement session with driftwood details. Whether it is striking front to camera with no where to hide glimpses, or images gently shaped by the lighting around them, there is a true treat in the honesty that Micheal pulls into these special pet project sessions. With no more of a perfect way to leave the ends of summer, I promise you that you'll dream sweetly after viewing this Utah engagement session like memory.

I have a serious thing for indoor furniture pulled outdoors to make wonderfully cool outdoor parlour spaces. There is something so wrong yet so perfectly right about using interior furniture, outside! When I first ran across Sarah & Paul's Northern California wedding I was immediately drawn to all the little details, from gorgeous florals to vintage staging, I wasnt too surprised to learn that it was all under the helm of wedding coordinator Be Hitched! Wanting to play off their gorgeous garden surroundings, this vintage wedding was crafted using an earthy color palette with pops of cobalt blue to set it all off. Their enchanted farmland surroundings were intermingled with farm wood style vintage tables & Victorian sofas evoking a true throwback feel. The result is a wonderfully magical summer's day effect, one where if you listen hard enough, you can still hear the echoes of jazz drifting with the breeze!
