The special treat to today’s gorgeously styled winter wedding is the beauty of the soft palette, the mixed textures & delightful play on a winter wedding sans snow!  Periwinkle hydrangea, buttercup hued roses, & natural toned burlap pull together a soft winter palette that is very easy on the eyes and is accented with elements of thistle & grapevine strands!  Set in the wonderfully sweet rustic industrial space of Mill 1 at Open Square, a romantic wonderland is created with a playful tone embracing decor touches like birch wood pillars which support lite candles, whispy branches lining the ceremony space & of course a heart made out of rose petals hallmarking the aisle.  Not to be out shined however is the super gorgeous naked cake with hand drawn lace like frosting topped with fresh blooms, stunning non?!   Equally chic & playful are the couple.  Our gorgeous bride dons a sleeveless neck high gown filled of tulle, one that would play into the girlish heart of any woman!  A smart mash up of hipster come prep, our groom toys with a mix of patterns in basic check crossed with a paisley bow, a rather savvy look if you ask me!  This winter inspiration session from the Massachusetts team is wonderfully romantic, playful & is a delightful twist on a lighter winter color palette!

A Note From The Team: “We had the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with local wedding vendors to create this lovely styled wedding. The periwinkle hydrangeas, yellow roses and burlap, mixed with the industrial mill resulted in a truly innovative mix of the industrial and rustic styles. From the mason jars and the hand stamped favor bags, to the whimsical touch of branches and birds throughout the room, Tanya from Bowties & Butterflies did a flawless job of blending the rustic element into this industrial space. We chose a light blue color palette mixed with oranges to complement the warm brick walls and wood floors of the historic mill. Our dapper groom wore a linen suit with a blue gingham shirt and an orange paisley bow tie. Our gorgeous bride wore a romantic gown with a full skirt of tulle that created a wonderful juxtaposition with the rough hallways of the mill.”
