When this delightful Delaney Dobson Photography seaside elopement inspiration at New Jersey dunes popped up into our feed, we had no idea that it would tote along fascinating history surrounding it. Barnegat Light’s moonscape dunes are becoming scarce to find on the east coast and truly a gem when you happen upon it. According to Jeanne from Bogath Weddings and Events, it’s like transporting to a different world; they’re unique, romantic, and off the beaten path.

Jeanne and her company of vendors wanted to really highlight the one-of-a-kind seascape while incorporating obvious elements that would do well alongside the editorial. Naturally, shades like seaglass and light nautical blue were woven in, but fun elements like a Sweet Melissa Goodness Cafe cake was adorned with a piece of antique jewelry. In the midst of a very neutral outdoor palette, bright colors and tropical blooms gave the styled shoot added dimension and texture. And of course, throwing in a sweet pupper with an aesthetically-pleasing floral adornment just elevates anything in our book.
