When you think of Florida there are a few hallmark things that come to mind. Sunning at the beach, hanging out around gorgeous swimming pools, bright bold colors & flamingos! Perfectly named Florida wedding photographer Hello Miss Lovely is quickly becoming a photographer favorite of mine, & this summertime engagement session just might be my favorite of the year! Nestled into the vibrant green lawn at the Palazzo Del Sol in Destin, Florida, Autumn along with Lauren Soley, owner of Love Good Weddings, brought to life a whimsical wonderland for smitten couple, Ashley & Josh to absolutely frolic in! Iconic pink flamingos filled the lawn, while touches like doughnut & swan rafts provided the couple with fun details to play on. Oh Joy for Target set the picnic off with vibrant hues & gold detailing creating the perfect atmosphere for this summertime engagement session! All that was left was for Ashely & Josh to be their beyond adorable selves, play, laugh & smile et voilà, summer magic!

“This was such a FUN stylized engagement session. I came up with this summertime concept and knew I wanted to incorporate flamingos, pineapples, and the swan + doughnut float! What better way to scream SUMMER then all of those fun elements combined? My ADORABLE clients, Ashley and Josh, were perfect. This not only captured their personalities but their relationship as well. Their outgoing, total beach babes, head over heels for one another, and amazingly cute! Seriously, did you see them?!
I went shopping for little details to tie everything together and I was so pleased when I came across the Oh Joy picnic products from Target. They are super rad with bold-bright colors and really made the shoot come to life! I collaborated with, Lauren Soley, owner of Love Good Weddings, who provided the flamingos, the gold side table, the vintage quilt, and the drink dispenser. Her eyes for details are amazing! It was such a pleasure working with her! We shot this summertime-love engagement shoot at the Palazzo Del Sol in Destin, FL. It’s an adorable house which is also a wedding venue located right on the beach!”
