As I write this post, the irony isnt lost on me. When Texas wedding photographer Angela King Photo sent this dreamy styled shoot my way some months ago, I pleaded to let me hold it back with the intention of featuring it right as spring was truly coming to life. Meanwhile, here in the northeast anyway, we’re on our 5/6th snow in a month…. its April, people, April. So instead, I now share this with you tied up in wanderlust for a warmer, sweeter time, living vicariously through Angela’s images. I’m a sucker for flowers, this a known fact, and easily one of the key pieces that drew me to this Texas wedding. A bevvy of blooms dance through each vignette, be it the drippy garland for portraits, the petite bridal floral crown, or the lush multiple piece tablescape. A floral roll call if you will of amaranthus, blue cornflower, peach stock, and succulents, form the garland of the beautiful site for a ceremony and couple’s portraits. The bride’s bouquet is a mix of jasmine vine, silver dollar and seeded eucalyptus, blue delphinium, white stock, peach campanella rose, white polo rose, peach hypericum berries, pink ranunculus, and pink spray roses. And yes I just flower spammed you, but you know you were curious anyway. Florals even make an appearance of on the dinner plates, paired so perfectly with soft blue and gray goblets that accentuate the raw silk ice blue table runner. There is a modern touch to this Texas wedding, on that is hill country sophisticate perfection. Swoon away dear friends…
