In all my research for our wedding a while back, I kept running across so many brides that were utterly mad over peacock feathers as their source of inspiration.  Whether it was simply the feathers alone or the deep rich colors each feather featured on display, one thing was clear, there are a lot you that love a good peacock feather!  Today’s styled shoot focus on these royal feathers, using them both literally as well as a source of color inspiration.  The result is an arresting & bold set up that I am sure many of the peacock wedding brides will eat up!

Pretty Little Details– There are a few terrific little touches that really deserve the highlighting.  Firstly, the ribbon adorned swing is perfection.  The whimsy & fun that this creates as a backdrop or entity unto itself is truly superb.  This swing is a photo op dream!  Next up is the floral garland.  Likewise creating a whimsical backdrop, the flower garland serves as a great neutralizer in the sea of peacock hues.  Lastly the rough cut teal fabric garland is really cool and also a create decor touch!

Bridal Style– I really appreciate the choice of styling/using a more ‘alternative’ looking bride.  Our bridey has a more edgy look, all the while maintaining certain bridal style classics yet still keeping her own personality.  The gown is a great choice, showcasing various design features that keep the dress from being anything but boring.  While it would have been easy to over style our bride in the world of hair & makeup, the perfect amount of reserve was exercised, serving to only enhance her beauty.

The Munchkins– I know its not exactly fair to put the kids in here, but I mean, come on!  Never mind their utter cuteness, {my vote is on the lil girl ruling the world when she grows up} the ensembles are equally as adorable.  Our little flower girl is rocking a full tulle skirt, which let’s be honest, is way too much fun.  Our sweet lil ring bearer is fashioned with some adorable suspenders & bow tie, all the whole rockin the chucks.  These 2 are a force to be reckoned with and quite possibly screen stealers!
