Charleston South Carolina weddings seem to gravitate here, finding a home on Storyboard and I could not be more thrilled.  The south has such a terrific way of a life, a sophistication that can not be denied and the best part of the Charleston weddings that head my way, each is a new take on a wedding style.  Tierney Simpson & Joe Jutzi’s Gibbes Museum of Art wedding was al fresco in the surrounding gardens where light strands punctuated the soon to be starry night sky.  Quirky elements where used to bring some whimsy in the from of two life sized topiaries made to look like their dogs, a surprise gift for Tierney, as well as 2 gorgeous old doors that served as the perfect backdrop for the ceremony!  A playful color palette of peach, light blue, ivory & mint gave the surrounding gardens a soft pop of color, with mint having a deeper meaning for Tierney being from Kentucky.  While the day has a touch of eclectic fun to it, the undeniable glam & sophistication that is the south is ever present!
