No matter how much I try to break away from the more traditional engagement photos in favor of those more theme centric, there are a handful of photographers & shoots that always seem to pull me back in. Vancouver based fine art photographer Ken Tan Photo is one of these photographers that I can never seem to quite get enough of. Shooting everything entirely on film, Ken’s ability to transcend natural light is truly a gift, compound that with his artistic eye and framing et volia, eye candy! Today’s session is just one example of that kind of lovely, not to mention it certainly doesn’t hurt that Hong Kong based couple, Selina Chen and Alfred Wong, are easy on the eyes! While back for only a few weeks in Vancouver to take care of some wedding planning, the couple were able to meet up with Ken for this gorgeous session wrapped in the soft buttery twilight that falls so lovingly on the Pacific coast. Photographically speaking the imagery is stunning, but it is the captured moments, the intimacy and honesty that is so utterly captivating.
