With winter finally making its presence known on the east coast this past weekend, today’s gorgeously styled winter wedding inspiration from Missouri wedding photographer Spencer Studios could not be more timely! Set into the deep woods of Kensington Park Michigan, Meghan along with a crew of talented Michigan wedding vendors hiked up a hill in 2 feet of snow just to make this styled winter wedding come alive! Wedding event planner Shelbi Britton along with GoIzzy Custom Event Design helped shape the overall look and feel of the stylized shoot which featured the perfect rentals from A Touch Of Whimsy Events and winter wedding invitations from EB Design Studio. The inspiration behind the shoot as a whole was a simple idea, a gorgeous lady in a big poofy dress running through the snow! Once the team had their Jim Hjelm gown in hand, the rest feel into place. Wanting to harness and evoke the beauty that is the holiday color palette, the team set to work focusing on a sophisticated variation of holiday red & greens. A vintage wood table & chairs were brought to serve as a focal point for the table setting while vintage hard sided suitcases & lanterns were used as perfect wedding decor detail points. GoIzzy crafted unique floral arrangements that were beautifully polished all while being free spirited and regally put together. A party isnt a party without cake, something The Sparky Noodle Bakery beautifully delivered in the form of a glazed naked cake, accented by sugar dusted cranberries & rosemary. Winter weddings provide a unique opportunity to create from an almost blank slate, much like our team of talented Michigan wedding vendors did with their beautifully thought out rustic chic outdoor winter wedding!
