Having already officially tied the knot in Tel Aviv, Israel, Marissa Rubenstein & Tamir Bergman, returned to the white sand beaches of Long Branch, New Jersey for a wedding celebration with their stateside family & friends.  Since the couple had no need for a repeat ceremony they were able to focus on having a gorgeous party as well as doing away with the tradition of getting ready separately.  Off Beet Productions beautifully and artfully captures the day with some of my favorite photos being those of Tamir zipping Marissa into her custom made Lihi Hod wedding dress.  There is something truly romantic about it and I am in love!  The gorgeous fashion doesnt stop with Marissa as her bridesmaids are each dressed in a mixed matched bunch of gowns, short & long, solid & printed, even sequins for drama, each in a shade of blush & champagne tones.  Guests celebrated along with our couple in a room of ivory & champagne with a slight Great Gatsby vibe to it with a touch of art deco flair with tall centerpieces and generous white plumage on top.  This wedding is wonderful eye candy and I adore the idea of international couples bringing the party to both of their homes so that everyone can join in on the celebration!

Novella of the Bride…

Wedding Buzzwords: Offbeat, Festive, Glamorous, Grand, Non-traditional, Rockin’

We met on a 10 day birthright trip to Israel back in 2006. My husband was serving in the Israeli navy, and I was a participant on the trip. After the trip ended we went our separate ways. He lived in Israel and I lived in the US. In 2011 I returned to Israel for a business trip and we reconnected. We started dating long distance NYC to Tel Aviv. Less than a year later I moved to Israel to be with him and he proposed a month later! We actually had the luxury of having 2 weddings. The official wedding with ceremony and all took place in Tel Aviv, Israel on May 30th, 2013 and the second wedding sans ceremony took place at Ocean Place Resort & Spa on August 10th, 2013. We love to celebrate life!

My family vacation down the shore every summer at my grandparents home in Deal. My husband proposed in my grandparents house in front of my immediate family and his immediate family. It was a very special evening for us all! We really wanted a venue on the beach in that area of the Jersey shore, so Ocean Place was the best option, plus a great place to play out our Great Gatsby elegance meets NYC upscale club/lounge vibe!

Sending Some Special Love: My mother, the wedding planner extraordinaire! I couldn’t have done this without her and my fabulous team at Flowerful Events and my wedding planner, Victoria Ali.

Bride’s Favorite Moment: “The grand entrance into the ballroom was pretty special. Since we didn’t have a second ceremony, this was our big moment with our wedding party. Everyone made up their moves about 5 minutes prior, and after a few cocktails it was pretty memorable. One guest even told me, “That was the most insane grand entrance I’ve ever seen, and I’ve been to a lot of weddings!”
