A month or so ago, I had the privilege of sharing a preview of Atelier Pronovias 2015 Wedding Dress Collection which was extremely well received and I know some of you have been chomping at the bit to see the full line!  The full collection was finally presented in Pronovias’ home base of Barcelona, setting the stage quite literally with a reproduction of the Mudejar-style façade of the Pronovias flagship store in Seville, an historical building that appears on the list of World Heritage properties.  Celebrating their 50th anniversary, the Atelier’s theme for the collection was “50 Years Dressing Dreams” which featured a range of designs inspired from the design houses years of success, from playful separates to intricately hand detailed body hugging jeweled gowns.  The collection, as Pronovias is so wonderfully know for, highlights the female form in every perfect way with gorgeous lines and textures with an ever so slight whisper of the 1930’s & 1940’s elegance.  A standout of intrigue, the finale gown was crafted of fine tulle, embellished with a delicate embroidery, creating a tattoo like effect on the skin.  While I dont know how many real brides will feel completely comfortable in such a gorgeous gown, there is certainly a bride or two this will be utter perfection for.  A personal favorite has to be the gown which features a mixture of lace & tulle, with an open boat neck, signature body hugging form to an loose A-line drop,  featuring the most amazing tulle webbed sleeve with lace bottom layer, utter perfect to this girl!
