A winter wedding is a unique experience unlike one during any other season. Couples that opt for a cold weather wedding don’t just simply identify with the season but utterly adore the little details that go along with it. A team of Oregon wedding pros sought to capture the spirit of a winter wedding, all while putting their cozy chic twist on it. Set in the misty boysenberry fields of Butler Barn, Oregon wedding photographer Hazel Eye Photography was on hand to bring the cold weather vision to life in a perfectly moody way. Teaming up with Peachy Keen Coordination & Thistle and Fern Floral, some of the very best aspects of a winter world were chosen to play with. Imagine a cozy lounge setup, complete with plaid throw blanket, furry winter boots and oversized hot chocolates. A petite evergreen adorned with thinly sliced wood ornaments turned guest book. A personal favorite to the Oregon winter wedding, a stunning white wedding cake featuring a cable knit sweater fondant overlay! To bring the winter bridal look, real flowers and berries were woven into the hair, while a rosebud wrap served as warmth. Lastly, farm elements like an old Ford pickup, boysenberry fields backdrop and a surprise guest in the form of Hei Hei the wonderfully cool Silkie chicken made an appearance bringing everything together. If you’re considering a winter wedding yourself I implore you to take this cold temperature beauty as winter inspiration gold!
