I imagine classic and timeless are two wedding descriptors that designers hear from brides all the time. While these two wedding themes are forever mainstays it’s their kissing cousin that is getting all the glory lately! An effortlessly elegant wedding releases some of the restraints that a classic wedding may have, allowing for a wedding design that dips its toe into perfectly undone. Wedding event planner A Sweetpea Event & Celebration teamed up with wedding photographer Halleigh Hill Photography to bring to life a gorgeously elegant wedding, set al fresco at Rancho Las Lomas. To hone in on the effortless elegance, a delicate soft feminine palette was used with a heavy emphasis on texture as a focal point. Florist Upton Grey Floral got the call to action, working with generous blooms in the form of David Austin “Juliet” Garden Roses, blush and cream Peonies, along side peach Poppies for a wild garden like bouquet for our pale pink wedding dress bride. Dialing up the romance, the most perfectly elegant wedding table was set, featuring a soft gray wood table with raw silk runner. Dotting the tablescape was a mix of tall gold candelabras & candle sticks accented by ornately framed mirror table numbers. Woven into the silk garland runner were elements of Eucalyptus, Pearl Acacia, and Olive Branches while blooming branches like Spirea and Curly Willow brought the drama. Soft blooms of peony, garden rose, tuberose, and Hypericum Berry were tucked throughout, adding in the last piece to the elegant wedding design. This styled shoot pays the most perfect homage to the classic wedding, but takes all the right steps to dial up elegant wedding decor and details. It feels wonderfully fresh, perfectly on trend and something right out of a storybook dream.
