Fall can be so much more than just pumpkin spice lattes and cozy sweaters. Fall can also be deep jewel tones, a dark chocolate cake, and an intimate ceremony in a quiet forest. From earthy floral arrangements featuring mushrooms and foraged stems, to a smoking cocktail station and garnet jewels, this shoot features unique details that spotlight the dark beauty of fall. Taking place within Seattle city limits, this shoot proves that couples don’t have to travel far to create the dramatic forest elopement of their dreams.

What was your design inspiration?

This shoot was inspired both by the fall season and the dark forests that the Pacific Northwest is known for. We wanted to create a design that combined dark and moody details with the natural earthiness of the forest. The design contained elements that paid homage to Halloween, without being gothic or cartoonish.

Describe the tablescape elements.

The tablescape included fresh, jewel-toned pomegranates and plums combined with earthy mushrooms and greenery.
