One of the things I find most romantic about international weddings it how much of a departure that they can be from ours, shifting to have a central focus on the celebration of life and the very core of the things that make it so good.  Tiziana Verdenelli & David Giuntoli did just that at their private orchard wedding nestled hillside with a truly breathtaking view.  Inside of handmade paper detail or stacked bits of wedding decor, the couple opted to pull from the late summer harvest, utilizing the earthy details around them for inspiration.  Tables were decorated with fruits & greens locally sourced, along with the floral crown or locally picked flowers handmade by wedding planner Ferrali Wedding.  There is a pure feeling to this orchard wedding, one of simplicity and all that is good, love, life and the world around us!

Novella of the Bride…

We met three years ago and it was love at first sight. David was immediately very kind and polite and won me dancing in front of the fire under a song by Gino Paoli, a famous Italian singer. The song was “Una lunga storia d’amore” ( a long story of love ). So the day of the wedding we entered in the room of the reception venue dancing this song in front of all the guests ( a slow dance ).

At first we had a drink (prosecco wine); immidiately after the ceremony and then for our guests; on a grass under a night fig tree.  After we moved inside for a rich “Apericena Buffet”. We had excellent wine and sparkling wine; a variety of cheese with honey and mustards; assortment of ham, tuscan salami, salami feline, finocchiona; mini hamburger and mini hot-dog; fish and cips; bruschetta with extra vergine tuscan oil; crostini with salmon and caviar; strudel filled with vegetables, ricotta and saffron; salad cake with mushrooms, asparagus and zucchini; paper cones with mixed fried; bufala cheese; maccheroncetti (pasta) with summer vegetables, toasted pine nuts and basil oil; a variety of sweets; a cake made by the chef in front of all filled with chocolate cream and….we helped in making our wedding cake. And last but not list: the confettata (confetti in six different flavours) staged by Franca my Wedding Planner.  We choose this location because it was surrounded by nature, there was a spectacular view over the valley.
