For wedding days like Contessa and Ethan’s, the couple had a clear vision and hired the right team to make it come to life. They wanted to create a welcoming and warm environment for guests to mingle, linger, and relax with them on their wedding day. From perfectly paired lounge sets to dancing under the stars, each element of the wedding day was completely cohesive and intentional. Contessa had a love for natural elements and a monochromatic whites color scheme. The crisp color scheme kept everything fresh while the natural textures made guests feel at home. Mostly Becky was able to take her vision board and make the design a reality.

The bride wore a stunning white gown as she walked down the aisle to meet her groom, who was waiting for her at the end of a long path lined with rose petals. The sound of the waves crashing against the shore, the salty air, and the endless horizon all created an amazing atmosphere of romance and wonder. The couple exchanged their vows as the sun dipped below the horizon, pledging to love each other forever. They then enjoyed a beautiful reception under the stars, dancing and celebrating their new marriage. It was a truly magical day that they will never forget.

How did you meet?

Ethan and I met through mutual friends!

What is your proposal story?

Ethan and my sister built a sign out of white roses, my favorite flower, that read “Marry Me?” And had the sign set on a little hill at our favorite park in town!

Tell us a little a bit about your wedding

For the wedding I envisioned a romantic and elegant setting while incorporating the beautiful scenery of southwest Florida. With the greenery Florida had to naturally offer us, I used different tones of white, tans, and champagnes for all of the details!

Tell us about your attire choices.

My wedding dress was covered in white dimensional flowers, I also loved the idea of having a different look for the reception but loved my wedding dress so much that just an hour or two in it was not enough, so I chose to go with an over skirt for the ceremony then removed it to reveal my more form fitted dress for the party!

What was the most important to the two of you while planning? Was there anything that you chose to splurge on or skip?

We splurged on our florals, it was so important to us that the flowers be the most eye catching part of the day and to really highlight the natural beauty of our outside venue. The other important part to us was incorporating our love of the Florida scenery by naming our tables after some of our favorite islands in southwest Florida. For example, the head table was named after the island we took engagement pictures on known as “Lover’s Key”.

What were your favorite parts of the day?

Following the ceremony, myself and the groom went around to talk to the guests one on one. Later in the evening when dinner was served it was wonderful to see all of our family and friends come together to celebrate with us!

Tell us about your wedding flowers.

My wedding flowers consisted of large garden roses, white orchids, and dried flowers; like ruscus, palms, and pampas grass.

Tell us about your wedding cake.

Our wedding cake was 3 tiers covered in the same flowers draped across the tablescape. Including the delicious flavors of Florida Citrus which was key lime inspired and French almond with raspberry.

Do you have any advice for couples planning their weddings now?

My advice would be to take pictures with all of your guests!! I wish we had taken more pictures with our guests. During the rush of the day, I forgot to stop and take pictures of the wonderful memories!
