Springdale, Arkansas is home to some of the most remarkable views of the Ozark Mountains and it’s fathomable as to why Texans from Austin Jessa and Keith ventured to the north to host their southern rural winery wedding with beloved members of their clans. The pair are self-proclaimed adventurers and wanted to experience a wedding that honed in on that quality.

“Formal yet relaxed” was the ultimate dogma of the day for Jessa and Keith. One could admit that winery weddings could potentially exude a certain ambiance about them, they were determined to blend the elegance of Sassafras Springs Vineyard with their laid-back personalities. Their romantic ceremony captured by Kylie Farmer Photography was celebrated in a stone edifice that resembled an antiquated church and their indoor reception matched in charm with the ceiling draping, dangling overhead orbs, and rustic luxury. But they had to infuse their mellowness and love for adventure somewhere, right? So we’re undecided as to what our favorite part is: their post-reception helicopter departure or the bridesmaids’ navy and burgundy kicks.

How did you meet?

We met on Tinder, went on one date and both deleted the app when we got home.

What is your proposal story?

Keith proposed to me in California Highway 1 coast while we were driving in a Porsche!  We stopped by a beach, went on a walk and he proposed right there.

What was the most important to the two of you while planning? Was there anything that you chose to splurge on or skip?

We are truly an adventurous couple!  We chose a helicopter grand exit which was the perfect scenario for our more adventurous sides.

What were your favorite parts of the day?

When I saw Keith as I was walking down the aisle was my favorite part of the day.  All the excitement, all the planning came down to this moment with our closest friends and family by our sides.

Do you have any advice for couples planning their weddings now?

Find vendors that you trust and allow them to take care of all the details for you.  At the end of the day, you are marrying your best friends and that is the only detail that truly matters.
