Will we ever move past the eclectic bohemian movement in the wedding industry? We’re inclined to say no and even if we were asked to choose, we’d give a hard pass. Who doesn’t love the various motifs that “boho chic” can take? In this whimsical bohemian wedding inspiration in Pennsylvania, Maura Pierce from Fox + Ivy Photography and her company of illustrious vendors hopped over to Historic Shady Lane. It was a setting already made for the ambiance they wanted to create with its forest amenities, stone walls, and the glasshouse that inevitably came to be the backdrop for the faux ceremony and reception.
Florist Sage & Silk Floral Designs opted for romantically-colored blooms. Blush and coral peonies and deep red roses were paired with metallics and nature-inspired designs. And of course, indubitably, there has to be at least ONE macramé installation. (Or is your inspiration really boho?) Sarah Evello Macrame created both stunning pieces for the ceremony arbor as well as the overhead reception garland. We are serious fans of this editorial.
