There are many unique elements to a wedding that can inspire, sometimes however you need look no further than fashion itself to find that perfect source of inspiration! Dessy, often considered a bridesmaid’s best friend, has recently rolled out a dreamy mix-match bridesmaid dress collection that cuts the months and months of wait out of the game, a true blessing believe me! When Lauren of Every Last Detail set out to create this sophisticated Florida wedding for Aisle Society, she needed to look no further then the richly textured Dessy bridesmaid dresses in a wash of neutral beachy hues to set the tone. With the convenience of dress delivery in only a few short days, she teamed up with local Florida wedding photographers Caroline & Evan Photography along with wedding planner Kelly Hancock Events to create gorgeous Florida wedding inspiration that was all about coastal wedding chic. Taking a color cue from Dessy’s soft washes, a palette of sky blue, sandy beige & soft baby pinks was born. Details like sea glass inspired escort cards, wind swept ribbons come table runner & a seaside lounge are only a few of the key coastal wedding decor highlights that make this chic seaside affair so appealing. Wind swept hair & loose fitting dresses were the perfect choice, allowing the bridesmaid dresses to not only compliment their surroundings but be wonderfully comfortable at the same time. I guarantee this chic coastal Florida wedding is going to inspiration quite a few of this summer’s brides in many ways. The beauty to it all, Dessy will inspire your bridesmaids right back, with a special 15% off plus free shipping to all Aisle Society readers! Simply enter code: AS0214 at checkout.
A Word About Styling:
Inspiration for this shoot was built around the stunning Dessy bridesmaid dresses that we fell in love with: three dresses that reminded us of the ocean and sand that the coast is so well known for. From there, a “coastal” but not “beachy” design fell into place!
In order to achieve this look, my main focus was texture. I wanted to keep things simple but with various textures and visual elements. I opted out of traditional linens and instead used gauzy ribbon and rope intertwined to create a table runner. It was the perfect contrast to the wooden table set with china and driftwood chargers! FH Weddings kept the florals untraditional, loose and wild while still maintaining femininity by using Protea, roses, oats and lots of greenery. Pulling in design details like a sea glass inspired seating display, an incredible textured wedding cake by Hands On Sweets with driftwood and rope accents, and a stunning invitation suite with brass and braided ribbon by Eleven Note all made for gorgeous coastal inspiration!
We added a touch of glam with the seating area and the bar by The Reserve Vintage Rentals and stayed true to the coastal mission with our map of Tampa Bay print by Oh Deer Creative. Various blues, greens, and pinks paired with soft and rustic elements prove that you can have wedding that fits both the bride and groom! We hope you feel inspired by these gorgeous coastal details enough to create your own ocean and sand inspired wedding day!
