Impeccable styling always puts a deep-seeded grin on our faces. When we are able to rifle though photos and photos of various well-angled shots showing us all of the details, we’re like babes in candyland. What stuck out for us in this dusty orange bohemian wedding editorial hailing from the lens of Abigail Renee Photography was the fact that many of the elements were very thrifty.

Planner Jessica from DeWitt Planning carved out a path to create a bohemian vibe with a play upon orange. Her ultimate goal was to take “DIY elements up to magazine standards” and she and her team outsourced an array of shoot items from thrift stores and secondhand shops. The elegant terra cotta-colored tablescape, for example, derived all of its pieces from Together, LLC., a rental company that scours estate sales and vintage shops for their inventory. Adding to the theme of frugality, the backdrop was crafted by Jessica herself and cost only $100. Editorials like this give us life and they are a sweet reminder that with some know-how and effort, a wedding or styled shoot can look like a billion bucks.
