There is something so deliciously ethereal about this styled bridal portrait session from Jen Huang Photography.  Aptly named Shadow & The Soul, this Jen Huang Photography workshop shoot embodies a polish & sophistication that is effortless in spirit.  To evoke a beautiful because you are, not because your tried, chic bride persona, styling began with a free flowing Saja Wedding Gown beautifully punctuated by a silk tulle veil & floral crown.  Locks were left loose to take on a life of their own while makeup was kept just strong enough to smolder at the eye & blush at the lips.  A selection of unique earthbound blooms were brought to gather to serve as accent pieces of harvest & bounty, showing off the diverse side of the floral world crafted by Saipua.  To enhance the deep lush feel of the day,  Lael Cakes crafted a dark chocolate two tier naked cake that was beautifully accented by the addition of a torn open pomegranate, a striking juxtaposition against the dark sponge cake.  Serving as the backdrop to it all, Hudson Valley’s Ham House serves as a dreamy spot for the chic at hear bride, from the antique filled rooms to the forest filled rolling grounds.  A chic bride can come in many packages, in this case, its one of earthy polish & effortless beauty.
