Janna + Cale’s elegant and intimate wedding at Chicago’s Thalia Hall was everything our wedding dreams are made of. We could tell you more, but you’re just going to have to see for yourself. Janna + Cale started the day getting ready at the Ace Hotel Chicago with some of their furry friends who, of course, joined them for some first look photos too. They knocked it out of the park with the details – the yellow shoes. The NASA socks. What’s not to love?
From there, Janna + Cale headed over to Thalia Hall to meet up with friends for photos and fun outside and in. They took full advantage of the beautiful day to get some great photos and even got caught up in a spontaneous Dia De Los Muertos parade that just happened to be going by. Perfection? Yep.
For their wedding ceremony, they dimmed the lights for an intimate ceremony with only their closest friends and family – before it was government-mandated. We loved that they kept the ceremony small and just focused on what’s important – love. For dinner, guests enjoyed candlelit tables under a canopy of greenery and dim lights inside Thalia Hall, a Bohemian theater with all the right vibes. And, of course, the evening concluded with dancing in front of a full band because when you get married in a historic theater with incredible acoustics, you have to have a band!
