I’m not quite sure exactly what it is, but I find Italian brides so incredibly regal & stoic in the most beautiful of ways. I think its the confidence that they are born with and a pose that is second nature. As such, the breathtaking Italian wedding of Inger & Tony Aarsbog has me utterly spellbound from the hauntingly beautiful hillside locale of Villa Cimbrone to the sophisticated & polished attire throughout right down to the flower girls. Having been together for over 13 years, Inger & Tony now have 3 lovely children who have not just been woven into their lives, but are some of the sweetest parts of the wedding day, such as the touching mother & daughter getting ready photographs beautifully snapped by Italian wedding photographer Gianni di Natale. As if sentiment & beauty weren’t enough to capture your attention, then perhaps it is the crypt locale for the reception that will get your wedding pulses raising. Vaulted stone arched ceilings, hillside vista views punctuated by tall crystal dripping centerpieces in a muted palette of ivory, pink and lilac will surely set hearts a flutter. This glam Italian wedding is an easy favorite as its just as much about family & love as it is about the beauty that surrounds the wedding day!
Novella of the Bride…
My name is Inger Aarsbog. I’m 30 years old and married the man of my dreams Tony Aarsbog ( 45). We meet 13 years ago and have been inseparable ever since. We have three amazing and beautiful kids. Nickolay (10), Leana Victoria(4) and Luca Isabelle(2), We live in Norway.
Our overall theme for the wedding was to give all of our guests a unique experience that they, included us would never forget. We did not want to rush the day and had several stops where we served prosecco and appetizers. I’m very detail oriented and love beautiful things, old as well as new. Villa Cimbrone is the most beautiful place we have ever seen, but it was very important for us to give it our own touch and set the right atmosphere with amazing flower arrangements and candle lights. We had decided on a smaller wedding with our closest family and friends. When searching online for venues I saw a photo of The crypt on the Internet and knew right away that this was the perfect place for our wedding.
Favorite Moments ~ There where SO many memorable moments on our wedding day, but my favorite moment has to be walking hand in hand with my husband out of church meeting all of our family and friends. Such a overwhelming feeling having all of them there, in a different country supporting us.
