The desert is a rugged place and its unpredictability can be hard to tame, but it’s definitely no match for a vendor team with a clear-cut vision and the drive to achieve it. Naturally, Kayla V P and her crew of creative wedding pros went with a southwestern design; it’s hard not to be swayed by the raw themes and rustic colors, right? Throw in a moody element with an always-necessary dash of boho, and we are totally sold.

The gimmicks were left behind and unique additions like cowhide table runners, painted cow skulls, and barb wire made us do double-takes since it’s not always an easy avenue when you take such dramatic details and weave it into a wedding shoot. Adding in some dashes of feminine attributes like plenty of blooms from Storybook Weddings and Events and colors like oxblood, periwinkle, and burnt sienna tied in things but also gave pops of color in the otherwise subdued palette. It’s cowboy meets cowgirl in a sophisticated manner, and riding off into the sunset just always sounds so romantic in any setting.
